(The YouTube link for the recited video of this poem is attached in the
Media section above!)

My heart always was an untamed beast,
That I had kept hidden in a cage of ribs;

Then came you,
and I could hear my bones
break from it's lunatic heart beats.

You praised my petals and green hues,
As you drank the liquor within my fruits;

But when the autumn came, You couldn't
stand the sight of my naked roots.

My love was deep,
but you were the sky;
When the darkness reigned,
Like shadows you would die.

I let my skin bleed, Hoping that
atleast blood would bring
Colour to your world,

But you were colourblind,
You never saw the scars
You created with your own sword.

I had never been fed the taste of love,
So I learned to lick it off your hands
crawling on my skin;

I never found a god I could believe in,
But you made me believe in
demons and deadly sins.

I let you be my ruination,
And you burnt me down.

Made sure you had drained everything,
Not a single glimpse of me could be found.

had you wished to kill me,
My darling?

Because you did.

That girl with constellations in
Her eyes no longer lives.
