Chapter 11

Niall's P.O.V-

If this doesn't go well then I have blown my chances. It has taken so long to get to this point, I don't even what to think about how crushed I will be. Not to mention how much the boys will tease me.

I checked the time and realised she's be here soon. I should probably start getting ready, I need to dress to impress tonight.

Tegan's P.O.V-

All I've done today is sit and watch Pretty Little Liars. It sounds bad but I'd rather stay at home and find out who A is than go on this date tonight. I reach over to the table next to me and grab my phone and start texting Niall,

Hey Niall, 

Sorry to do this but I really don't feel very well and I've been ill all day. Can we re-arrange please?

I was about to hit send when there was a knock at the door, I sighed a reluctantly unwrapped myself from my blanket cocoon. I open the door to see my curly haired bezzle Brad.

"You look like shit Tee you can't go on a date like that" Brad laughed shaking his head. I looked down at my pyjamas and shrugged,

"I'm not planning on going so it doesn't matter what I wear"

"What why, are you insane?"

"I just can't be bothered I was going to send a text anyway."

We walk over to the sofa where my phone was and look at the text, I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. Brad gave me a disapproving look and took my phone,

"Why would you cancel?"

"I just want to find out who A is I'm nearly finished season 2"

"It's Jenna, now real reason why you don't want to go please'"

(A/N- it's not actually Jenna we just didn't want to ruin it)

I play with the blanket in front of me for a while, "Look I'm nervous ok? Other than my ex I've never been on a date with someone that I could see myself in a relationship with. I just don't want to get hurt again."

Brad doesn't say anything but comes and gives me a hug. I start to sniffle and rubs my back before saying, 

"You'll never know unless you try tiger," I smile at the use of our old nicknames for each other, "and I doubt he has any intention of hurting you if he went to this much effort just for one date. One date won’t hurt you I promise." I feel bad for thinking about cancelling now especially as it is only one date.

"You're right, I guess I should go, thanks bear" We both laugh at the childhood nicknames

"We're such losers using those nicknames still." I just poked my tongue out it him in response.

"Anyway tigs, if the date is really that bad you can just text me and I'll pick you up straight away" 

I nod at his suggestion and walk into my room to get ready. I changed into something casual but dressy enough to look like I have made an effort. I quickly checked the time and realised my cab would be there soon. I grabbed my bag and arranged to go bowling tomorrow with Brad so I could fill him in on all the details.

I got in my cab and told him Niall's address. I pulled up to his and house and it was much nicer than I was expecting. I keep forgetting he's in the biggest boyband in the world of course he'd have a nice house. Not that I care about his money or fame it's just weird how normal he is.
