I ran down the road when I saw Carter leave in Matt's car. I didn't want to loose him. He was still my best friend. I tried to catch up to the car but Cameron stopped me and I collapsed in his chest. The truth hurt him when I thought he would understand.

"Kat, it's all going to be ok," Cameron said hugging me tighter.

"Don't start," I said pulling away. "You know it's not all going to be ok. So stop lying to me when the truth came out already," I said sobbing. But he pulled me into another hug anyways.

"If you want I can take you to Matt's house and we could talk to him," he suggested and I looked at him like he was crazy.

"No, he can handle himself for tonight," I said pulling away and walking back to the party.

"No more partying, I'm taking you home," he said turning me around and pulling me towards his car.

"Can I just stay the night at your house, I don't want to be alone. My mom went on a trip with her business partner," I said as we reached the car and he nodded agreeing. We got back inside and Cameron yelled that the police were here and everyone piled out really quick. The house was a mess.

"I can help you clean up," I said going to the kitchen but Cameron stopped me.

"No, my mom is away so we could worry about this tomorrow," he said pulling me upstairs. Mid way we heard whistling from Nash, Taylor, Hayes, the jacks and Shawn.

"Leave weirdos," Cameron said pointing to the door. They did as told still smiling. Cameron led me to his his room, he went to his closet, grabbed a sweatshirt and a pair of boxers and handed them to me. I walked to the bathroom and changed taking off all my make up and fixing my ponytail. When I came back Cameron looked knocked out, so I grabbed a pillow and blanket and spread them out on the floor.

"You can sleep in the bed with me you know," he said patting a space next to him. I picked the pillow off the floor not caring about the blanket and plopped down next to Cameron. I turned the other way so I wasn't facing Cameron but he pulled me close to him. I felt surprisingly comfortable.

"Goodnight," he whispered in my ear before I could say it back my eyes got heavy and I fell asleep.

• Morning
I woke up with my head in Cameron's chest and his chin on top of my head. I tried to get up as careful as I could but he just pulled me close to him again.

"No, don't leave," he mumbled cuddling me. I smiled and just went along with it. "So what are we?" He asked playing with my hair.

"Friends with benefits," I answered hesitantly. I looked at him and he looked disappointed. "What's wrong?"

"I just thought that we would be something more after what happened yesterday," he explained and I gave him a confused look. "With Carter and the kiss. And our little sleepover."

"Did we do something other than that?" I asked worriedly.

"No, we just slept," he answered back shaking his head.

"I do like you. But I also love Carter. I know I can't pick you both so you just have to give me sometime," I said.

"Ok, as long as you pick me in the end I'm ok," he said snuggling me more. I suddenly got uncomfortable and stood up.

"Sorry," he said sitting up from the bed.

"No need to be sorry. I'm just going to go home and get ready for the day," I said as I grabbed my clothes and headed towards the bathroom. I came back and Cameron was dressed.

"Where are you going?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"What are you, my mom?" He chuckled.

"Maybe," I said folding my arms.
