Chapter 23 - Carter

We were walking around the pier looking for Katherine. How could she have gotten away that fast? I'm just worried about her, I love her and I don't want anything bad to happen to her. Her life is already so screwed up.

"She's gone," Taylor said throwing his hands up in the air.

"God dammit!" Cameron yelled kicking a trash can across the lot.

"Chill, we'll find her," Matthew said pulling out his phone.

"Yo, what are you doing?" I asked walking closer to Matt.

"I'm calling Ayo, back up," he answered pushing me away from him.

"Hey Ayo," he began but I'm guessing she was talking over him. "Do you have any idea where she could be?" He asked. "Ok, see you later," he said. "I love you too, bye," he said and hung up.

"So," Jack and Jack asked.

"You guys aren't twins, stop saying things at the same time," Matthew said and they looked at each other.

"What did she say," Hayes shouted annoyed.

"She doesn't know where she is," Matthew sighed itching the back of his head.

"How are we going to find her? She could be anywhere," Nash complained throwing his hands in the air.

"Cam, you ok?" I asked and he just left looking down at his hands. Then all of a sudden he punched a wall, hard.

Katherine P.O.V
"I just lied to my boyfriend for the first time ever, how am I ever going to explain this to him," Ayo asked, her voice cracking.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have made you do it," Natasha said from the back. My phone ring again for the hundredth time. If this thing doesn't shut up, I'm going to throw it out the window.

It was from Nash and I hit ignore. My phone buzzed and it was a voice mail.

"Kat, I know you're not talking to us but Cameron is in the hospital," the voice mail said and I could tell it was Nash. My heart stopped.

"What wrong?" Ayo asked. I started to cry and Natasha took my phone listening to the voice mail.

"Turn around and drive to the hospital now!" Natasha shouted.

"Why? What the hell is going on?" Ayo asked.

"Just do it!" I shouted and she quickly turned around and started to drive to the hospital. Ayo took my phone and listened to the voice mail. She turned towards me and rubbed my back as I cried.

Hopefully this isn't a trick to talk to them. If it is I'm never going to forgive them. I do care about Cameron.

We arrived at the hospital and I ran out not caring if that Ayo parked the car yet. I ran inside and Gilinksy pulled me into a hug.

"What happened?" I sobbed.

"I'm sure Cameron wants to tell you," Jack said hugging me tighter.

"Hey, the Nurse said that he's in surgery. Cam won't be out in at least an hour or two," Nash explained and it just made things worse.

"Is he going to be ok?" I asked wiping my eyes, pulling away from Jack.

"We don't know," Nash voice cracked.

"Hey, where's Cameron!" Kian yelled running in with the others.

"Kian, how did you know Cam was in the hospital?" Taylor asked.

"I was driving with them when we got the call," he explained.

"You lied to me!" Matthew yelled walking towards Ayo.
