ITS BEEN SOOOOOO LONG SINCE I EVEN TOUCHED THIS BOOK AND IM SO FUCKING SORRY GUYS HOLY SHIT.

I don't really know if I wanna make it any longer than it actually is, maybe like 2 more chapters? It wasn't even supposed to be too long anyway.

But yeah, i'll see what I can do this today.

Anyway, onto the chapter!!

Madelaine and Awsten's relationship was going quite well.

Of course everything couldn't stay within their walls and their cute little dates, Awsten was a music artist who's album was coming out soon. Meaning her now purple haired boyfriend was away on tour and their relationship consisted of late night FaceTimes and texting almost every second of the day.

Including between takes as she finished filming season 3 of Riverdale.

She was placed in her bed on her stomach with her feet hanging in the air as her phone was propped against a pillow, she was laying on her arms as she starred at the purple haired sleepy looking boy on her phone screen.

"Babe, why don't you just go to sleep already? You don't have to stay up and talk to me."

Awsten sends her a sleep smile, "I have a flight in like 2 hours, I might aswell stay up and talk to my gorgeous girlfriend."

She blushes and sticks her tongue out at him, "Go to bed, Awsten."

"Nooo." He whines before a loud yawn escapes his pink lips. "I'm fine, I promise." He replies as his eyelids begin to droop ever so slowly.

"You're literally falling asleep right now, you goofball." She giggles as he groans and rubs his eyes, he's snuggled up in his comforter but he refuses to actually just go to sleep.

"Just... let me sing this to you. It's a song you haven't heard, and it makes me feel better when I have to sleep without you." He mumbles vulnerably, it sends a warm feeling to her chest.

"Of course, I'd love to hear it." She says as she sits up and props her phone so he can see her.

"Okay." He sits up a little bit, "You ready?"

She nods, "Of course, whenever you're good."

"You hold me by the heart and you wear my soul. Last week showed me I'm scared to be all alone. I'm selling out to the dream, I'll be cool on my own.
I feel dead and a half, but you're making me laugh."

She giggled at that line, she feels like that all the time, especially after doing hours of scenes till the AM. Seeing a text or getting a call from Awsten always makes her feel better.

"You're the lucid, plain view Cupid found
You're the blueprint to my stupid sounds."

She couldn't contain the smile one her face as he sang those lyrics, he told her that she was his muse before she hadn't heard a song that he wrote about her quite yet.

"My face feels hot and blue, when I'm alone with you. Loneliness was built for two. Do you want, do you want, do you want to. You can call me on my phone, I'll run to you. You won't ever have to sleep alone. You can call me on my phone, I'll come to you. You won't ever have to sleep, sleep, sleep alone." He then clears his throat, "I'm still working on this last song, not sure how I should end it."

Madelaine takes a moment to think, "How about just the words ''my face feels hot and blue when I'm alone with you' but like.. repeated with a dreamy sounding background to end off with? Like... this.. 'My face feels hot and blue when I'm alone with you, my face feels hot and blue when I'm alone with you..' of course I can't sing as good as you but I think you get my point." She shakes her head before running a hand through her messy hair.

Awsten smiles, "That was perfect, that was the last song I had to finish on the album and now I know how to end it. Thanks, babe."

"Anything for you, now go to bed. I'll text you later and we can call again, okay?"

Awsten pouts, "Okay, goodnight Madelaine."

"Goodnight, Awsten."

"By the way, your singing is so much better than mine." And before she can respond he hangs up with a smirk and she shakes her head at her phone, this man would be the fucking death of her.

OH MY GOD.

You guy can totally scream at me, I'm so sorry I let this book just die. I just lost interest and then I got writer's block and I just never thought to ever finish it.

AGH.

I'm so sorry.

I am gonna finish this though, today actually.

This book was supposed to be short so I am gonna finish it that way.

But yeah, there's only a few more chapters left.

Thank you to everyone who has ever read this, I really appreciate it so much more than you'll ever know.
