• Time Skip: 2 Years •
Madelaine was standing in the front row of the Waterparks Fandom Tour. She was smiling and nodding along to Telephone as her boyfriend jumped around the stage full of his contagious energy.
She loved seeing him up there losing control and being his absolute self, it made her feel so proud of him and everything he and his best friends had accomplished over the years of being a band.
When the song ended she clapped and cheered loudly, and the Awsten walked up to the mic, "Sing this one with me."
Madelaine rolls her eyes as he starts playing The Star Spangled Banner, everyone in the audience sang along as he strummed his guitar throughout the entire song.
"And the home of the.... BRAVEE!!" the crowd screamed to him, and then he started strumming the chords to Lucly People immediately after making everyone scream in excitement.
Madelaine was flooded with the feeling of nostalgia as she remembered the day that Awsten played this song for her before anyone else knew it existed, this was their song, and it always would be.
She watched as the security started pushing everyone back gently and they placed down some steps leading to the stage, she then saw Lili, Ness and Cami walking towards her and making a cirle of space around her.
"Guys what the hell is going on?" She asked but they just pulled her into a hug and pointed to the boy with vibrant green hair who was walking down the steps still strumming the strings and singing with a mic attached in his ear to his mouth instead of holding it.
The strumming slowed as Awsten walked towards her, just like that day on the roof.
"Happy birthday, Merry Christmas To the one I call my missus I'm leaving you love notes in the kitchen that say it all I know you said to mind my business But Cupid sent me on a mission That's got me sitting, wishing, waiting for your call."
Awsten handed his guitar to security and then it was just the two of them in the circle with the girls standing closely behind her.
"Awsten, what is going on?" She says as she feels eyes on her from every direction.
He clears his throat, "Madelaine Grobbelaar Petsch, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. After my last relationship I didn't think that I would ever find love again, and then I met you by talking to some stranger behind a wall." He chuckles and sends a smile to her lips.
"I wrote that song for you, for us. Because we are Lucky People, I am so lucky to have met someone as amazing, beautiful, down to earth, and as loving as you. I cannot imagine my life without you, Madde." There are tears streaming down her cheeks right now, and then Awsten gets down on one knee making everyone in the crowd gasp. "Will you do my the honor of being my Lucky Person for as long as you shall have me?"
Madelaine just cups his cheeks and leans down, she seals their lips for a few seconds and then she nods, "Of course I will be your Lucky Person, Awsten. Yes."
Awsten beams and then he's standing up, "She said yes!" He yells making the crowd go into hysterics as they clap and scream but all she can focus on is the fact that Awsten really proposed to her infront of everyone.
He turns towards her and pulls out a ring box, he opens it and she sees a beautiful ring with a red diamond heart jewel, her eyes well up with tears again as he slips it on her finger and then she's throwing her arms around his neck as he picks her up.

"We really are Lucky People." She whispered
Awsten pecks her lips, "And we will be, forever."

This was actually the plan, I wanted to do a time slip and have them get engaged at a waterparks concert because how fucking cute, right?
Also, the Star Spangled Banner song, haha, I went to the tour and I laughed my ass off when Awsten immediately started playing Lucky People right after, he's so clever and I love him.
Also, Greatest Hits is their best album.
Don't care.
It's so fucking good.
But anyway, thanks sooooo much for reading this guys. I'm really glad I came back to it and decided to finish it because I almost left this book completely in the dark.
