Third person POV

Kiba and Shino were walking around the bustling streets of Konoha along with Akamaru. They just finished their mission and were exhausted. On their way to the public bath, they met their familiar group of friends just outside the entrance of the public bath.

"Whoa, what is everyone doing here? Even Gaara is here." Kiba was surprised as he jogged over to the group along with Shino.

They all turned heads and greeted him and Shino with little smiles and nods. Sasuke pointed to the entrance of the public bath entrance and spoke.

"Since everyone are here, let's go in."

"Huh? Where's Naruto?" Gaara asked as he looked around, checking to see that familiar blonde hair.

Sai placed his fingers under his chin and had that mysterious smile. "Me and Sasuke wanted to invite him but he already left."

Shikamaru scratched the back of his neck with a tired sigh and walked towards the entrance. "We'll find the troublesome blondie afterwards but first let's just head to the bath."

The others followed after him and went inside to the men bath, there's not a lot of people in there. They were all leaving and changing into their clothes. Kids were running around chasing each other without their clothes while the parents running after them holding their clothes.

What a scene.

All they want was a comfortable bath, Sasuke, Shino, Gaara and Neji went up to the counter and requested to make the public bath private for two to three hours. Since they all were from famous clans, the girl said yes right away. She even let them stay whenever they want.

They went to a corner and started stripping their clothes and wrapped a white towel around their waist. Neji tied up his long hair into a high pony tail and headed to the bath. No one was around so they were the only ones in the public bath. Lee made a big jump and splashed into the big bath tub.

"Wee~!"

*Splash!*

Kiba also joined in and made another splash. The two were satisfied the big splashes they made and highfived with each other. Neji and Shino shook their heads at their teammates and let out a huge sigh.

Those two were hyper and energetic. TOO HYPER AND ENERGETIC.....

Like the blonde, Uzumaki Naruto.

They all stepped into the warm water and sank their bodies in.

"Speaking of which, don't you think Naruto is acting weird these days?" Kiba placed his arms on the bath's edge and leaned back as he glanced at his friends.

Shino who was normally quiet, was the first one to speak. "Now that you mention it, he seemed like trying to avoid any skin contact with everyone."

He then explained the whole story to them.

Flashback...

Shino's POV

I was heading back to the Aburame compound, walking through the trees into the woods. I saw a ball of yellow fluff on the ground.

I got curious so I walked towards to see it was actually Naruto panting heavily while laying on the ground. Probably after training for a long time so his face was flushed red from the heat. His eyes were still shut when I was already beside him.

He still wasn't aware the fact that I was next to him at all. Silently I reached out my hand and brushed his bangs softly.
