Third person POV

After Naruto came back to Konoha, Kakashi decided to have training with Team Gai. Gai quickly accepted and comfirmed to meet up in the morming.

The blonde was so excited to see his friends after three whole years and there's one friend that kept his mind occupied.

Hyuuga Neji.

He never thought that he would be friends with him at all. The Chunin match that he had with him years ago, he pormised that he would change his fate in the Hyuuga family.

Now the blonde came back to prove it to him. He was nervous to see him but desperate to see the boy.

Naruto sat on a tree branch near the training grounds waiting for his teammates and sensei. He was thinking about how to face the Hyuuga.

What should he say once he met him? A hello or a hug? That's right! A big warm hug will do! But is that weird to do that? Neji is his friend but not that close enough. Would that make him upset? But he hadn't seen him for three years...

Naruto.exe had stopped working. It was nerve wracking to figure out how to face Neji. He sighed and leaned back to the tree.

"Well, there's time before the the training starts so I'll use this time to figure out..."

"Figure out what exactly?" A familiar voice spoke out.

The blonde jolted at the voice and started sweating.

Ah shit, that voice....

Naruto slowly turned his head and saw the one and only Hyuuga Neji standing behind him. Neji was taller and much more handsome than before. His outfit also changed. His white featureless eyes stared at him, figuring out what the blonde boy was thinking about.

"H-Hello Neji. Long time no see... Um...what brings you here early than the meeting time?" The blonde stuttered as he averted his eyes from him.

The Hyuuga was unsatisfied with his reaction and sat down. He folded his arms and said, "Just came here to find you. Welcome back Naruto. You didn't even bother to come and find me after you came back to Konoha. Am I really a friend to you?"

Naruto thought Neji wouldn't mind about these kind of things. He knew he's going to meet him today so he didn't bother to see him but he quickly regretted it. He made Neji upset.

Naruto frowned and shook his head. "You're my friend Neji! You'll always be! I knew we're gonna meet up today so I didn't find you yesterday. Sorry..."

He hugged Neji around his neck and rubbed his head against it.

Neji had a faint blush across his cheeks and hugged him back.

"Fine. Apology accepted. But you'll come to my house and stay a night with me today."

Naruto beamed at him and nodded. "Okay! If it makes you happy again then will do!"

The Hyuuga couldn't keep his eyes open. The blonde was too bright like a sun. He got even brighter after three whole years. He pulled the blonde's whiskered cheeks and said, "Stop making this face, Naruto. It makes you dumb."

Naruto struggled to make Neji release his cheeks and protested.

"Shtawp Nwejwi! I awm nuat dwumb!"

The blonde was making such a cute face, Neji stopped pulling his cheeks and caressed them with his hand. The pale milky orbs stared at Naruto's sapphire blue ones.

"Neji...?"

Neji realized what he was doing and quickly retreated his hand. He looked away and stood up.
