Third person POV

The lazy Nara placed his chin on his hand staring at the blonde who was having fun eating. They were having a party celebrating the success of a big mission, everyone were going to take a break after that.

It's been two weeks that they finally became lovers, Shikaku and Yoshino knew about them and they were happy for the two. They even invited Naruto to come and stay over with them. As for their friends and senseis...

Sometimes when the two were on a date, it was pretty obvious for them to know that they were going out. But there's someone who didn't want to believe it.

Shikamaru's POV

I really want to leave this place. There's way too many people here. But if Naruto is having fun, then I guess it will be alright to stay a little longer.

But this blondie....is too oblivious.

Didn't he know he's really attractive?

I felt a tap on the shoulder that made me snap out my thoughts. I turned to see Neji was the one who did that and smirked at me.

"Shikamaru, you've been staring at Naruto for quite some time. Lovesick, aren't you?"

This guy is pretty sharp, geez.

"What. Don't tell me you're interested in Naruto too huh?" I said as I rolled my eyes back.

Neji raised an eyebrow and had that smirk on his face again. His eyes landed on Naruto once more and spoke.

"If I said I am, would you give him to me?"

"Neji you..."

I never thought Neji would also like Naruto that way, but I guess Naruto's charm was that great.

I stared at him wide eyed in shock, he saw my reaction and chuckled.

"But you know, besides me, there's a lot of people like him that way too. And if you're not careful enough....

We might steal him away from you before you even know it."

I went silent and continued to stare at Naruto. I knew there's a lot of people like him but Naruto was too dense to notice that. He's a lovable blonde and deserved to be loved.

Seeing Naruto's smiling face, I made up my mind. I turned to Neji with an unamused look and sipped my tea.

"Mendokuse. Naruto is mine to begin with, Neji. No one could take him away from me."

"Hmm.... You better watch out then, Shikamaru." Neji said as he glanced over to Naruto who was chatting with Kiba, Sai and Sasuke.

I grumbled under my breath and sighed. There's too many competitors, those three are also interested in Naruto, But it seemed they were a little too close to my blonde. I had to keep an eye on them.

This is getting more troublesome than I thought.

Naruto's POV

I sat a bit too far away from Shikamaru but he's having a nice chat with Neji. I didn't want to bother them so I didn't go and sit with him.

"Naruto, when you were running after the enemy, you almost tripped over, am I right?" Kiba cheeky grinned as he poked my cheek, teasing the hell out of me.

So he saw me! ARGHHHHH! I wanna hide away!

I slightly slapped his finger away from my cheek and pouted, pushing my bottom lip out and spoke. "S-So what! I still managed to make this mission a success!"
