(A/N: They're not married yet! Neji is still alive! They're all 24 years old! Naruto is 18 and 24! You'll know why later. On with the story!)

Third Person POV

The Orange Hokage held a secret scroll in his hands as he walked in the streets of Konoha. The villagers were happy to see their Hokage walking around and greeting them with a smile.

"Oi! Hokage sama. Where have you been?"

Crap.

Naruto flinched and turned to see his advisor with folded arms and tapping foot and a tired look planted on his face. The blonde made a weird face and shook his head.

"S-Shika! I-I'm not slacking around! I found a scroll with a seal on it in my house so I wanted to check it out!"

Shikamaru let out a huge sigh, this became an everyday thing for him to do.

Finding his troublesome Hokage.

He picked the blonde Hokage, placing over his shoulders like a rice bag and started walking towards the Hokage tower.

"What a drag. You have a lot of documents to look over and sign them."

"P-Put me down Shika! I'm not a kid anymore!" Naruto yelled as he struggled in the genius' arms.

"Not a fat chance, Naruto. I bet you're gonna escape from me again."

The Hokage folded his arms and sulked. He would never be able to escape from his advisor. Last time he did, he got punishment from him.

Punishment. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

"Shikaaaa~ I rather hold hands with you, please?" The blonde begged him, patting the spiky haired man's back mutiple times.

Shikamaru didn't expect him to say that. Geez, after all these years, he's still as cute as before. The genius had a faint blush across his cheeks and put him down gently. He grabbed the blonde's hand tightly and continued walking.

Naruto beamed at him and hummed along the way. When they reached the office, he flopped on the chair and stretched his arms.

"Hai hai Hokage sama. Start working now." The genius handed him a pile of documents and papers.

The blonde groaned, he didn't hate doing this stuff but he sometimes want to go and slack off like before. But then he finally got to become Hokage, he didn't complain and started to read the documents.

Shikamaru stayed beside him and also helped him with his work. While Naruto was stamping the papers, Shikamaru spoke out.

"Almost forgot. Didn't you say you wanted check out the scroll you found at home? I'll let you do that before you continue your work."

The blonde looked up and grinned. "Really!? Then I'll check it quickly!"

He took out the scroll, broke the seal and opened it.

POOF!

White smoke spreaded out the room. Shikamaru was shocked and started looking for the Hokage, but the smoke made it hard for him to see.

"Naruto! You alright?!"

"Where....am I?"

The smoke then faded away, revealing a much younger Naruto, around the age of a teen, still wearing his orange and black jumpsuit. He looked around and saw a jaw dropping Shikamaru in front of him.

"Why am I in Tsunade baa chan's office? Are you....Shikamaru?"

'No way in hell this is happening! What's the scroll that Naruto just open?' Shikamaru thought as he picked up the scroll.
