"Y/N, baby how many times do I have to tell you?" He lifted my chin. "I don't do that shit."

The rings on his fingers left my face cold. I pouted. Halloween was just around the corner and for all of October I've been begging Dally to do a couples costume with me. But he never gave in cause he thought those were so corny. The only dressing up he ever did was wearing a monster mask that'd spook kids away.

We were at the store with the gang, buying candy and any last minute accessories they wanted to add to their costume. They were putting more effort into dressing up this year for a party some greaser in the neighborhood was throwing and all of us were going.

I look walk down the candy aisle and look through the different chocolates. A bag fell from one of the mid shelves so I bent down to pick it up. As I was about to place it back, a skeleton head was placed in its previous spot.

"What's shaking baby?" Twobit moves its jaw while speaking. Two loved messing with the decorations and props, it's almost tradition.

"You're such a dork." I laugh.

Twobit maneuvers the skeleton body to dance. He continues talking to me through the opening of the shelf as I keep on laughing. "There are 206 bones in the human body. Can I put one more in your sister tonight?" He makes the skeleton wave it's hand.

"Okay that's enough." I roll my eyes and cover it's face by putting the bag of candy back.

"Wait-" I ignore him.

I feel a breath against my neck and slowly turn around. A loud shriek from me filled the entire aisle.

"Dal!" I slap his arm.

He takes the wolf mask off while everyone was laughing their asses off. I'm surprised we weren't asked to leave this time. The workers would usually push us not even ten minutes of being in the store. It only took two minutes for Dal and Two to steal something anyways. When the cashier gives us our change we make our way out.

"Woooh we officially outdone ourselves boys!" Steve shouts. "Shopped without getting our asses kicked out."

We laughed. It was getting late so everyone decided to part from there. Dal slung his arm around me, he'd never admit it but he became twice as protective around me at night. I grabbed a costume from my bag and threw it to Pony.

"Hey when Darry gets back from work give this to him." I wink.

Pony looks at the Superman costume in its package while Steve and Soda died of laughter. Welp, that's what happens when super dope let's us pick his costume. Pony and Johnny waved to us both before going back to the house while the other three went off to Bucks most likely.

Dal and I walk down the street that's headed home, our home. It was a cozy apartment that we both pay for. You'd be surprised how clean of roommate he is. He grabs my wrist to place a skull ring on my pointer finger. "There. See." He holds his hand up to reveal a matching skull ring with his other band, they shined in what was left of the sun. I gushed at how cute he was.
