Training in the Mindscape! The secrets of stages uncovered?

(After Malik fight, 3rd person)
Our 4 heroes have just defeated an enemy that was a threat to the entire Galaxy! Thomas, Michael, and Scott were standing with Master Jamos as they watched Craig descend from space and land onto the grass of the open plain with a serious look on his face that turned into a smile when he seen Master Jamos. "Hey Master, I have an idea! Why don't you let the 4 of us go into the same mindscape I was in? And this time let us go in for 10 minutes and that way we can get way stronger!" Master Jamos nodded and yelled at the 4 to close their eyes and clear their minds. They were all transported to the same mindscape Craig was in before. 

"Alright boys! Let's train our butts off and see if we can truly master our powers!" Thomas yelled in excitement as they all got ready to start training. Everyone was excited to be training together and they all got into their fighting stance as Craig yelled at them. "Hey this will be a battle Royale, I'll be under 500x gravity so that way you guys have at least a small chance of winning." Craig smirked as Scott, Michael, and Thomas stared at each other and it was as if they were all thinking the same thing. "Let the Battle Royale begin boys!" 

As soon as Craig said that all 3 of them were on him at once and he smirked again as he was expecting this to happen. Michael and Scott activated their weapons as Scott put his shield around his arms and torso kind of like armor as Michael rushed in with the blades on the end of his weapon and Craig was set on the backfoot. 'Where's Thomas at? I could've sworn he was behind me but now it feels like he's all around me.' Craig activated his weapons passively as he sent one of his swords to protect him from behind and he sent the other sword in front of him as he split it into hundreds of small swords and shot them at Michael and Scott who couldn't chase him anymore due to being bombarded with little razors. To his surprise the sword behind him was thrown at him and he backflipped over it at the very last second. Craig noticed that Thomas was charging up something from above and seen that he was almost done charging it so he shot up towards Thomas and hit him but his fist went straight through him as Thomas disappeared in smoke. 

Suddenly Craig was surrounded by hundreds of Thomas clones as he realized that they were just after images. "If they're here then you're.... Here!" Craig shot a small energy blast at where he thought Thomas was but soon realized that the after images started materializing and revealed Thomas himself as they all came together. "I'm done charging my blast Craig! Now you'll have to transform!" Craig was surprised as he seen Michael and Scott both coming at him from underneath and behind him. "Craig give up and you won't get hurt." Scott and Michael said in unison. Craig had a genuine smile on his face as he said, "You want me to transform? Alright then. HAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Craig powered up his base form to its maximum and shook Thomas, Michael, and Scott down to their core. Thomas finally finished charging up his attack and yelled to Michael and Scott. "Do it now!" Michael and Scott activated their weapons and shot towards Craig at light speed but at the last second while Craig got ready to block Thomas fired his beam at Craig as Michael and Scott dashed away and Craig was hit by the blast in an attosecond. 'Dammit I'll have to finish this fast!' "HAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Craig transformed into his first stage as Thomas added even more power to the blast. Michael and Scott shot their own full power beams towards Thomas's blast and gave it Christmas colors which instantly barreled towards Craig at unimaginable speed. 

"Scott, let's try that technique Master Jamos taught us!" Scott nodded in agreement as they both screamed "Bo-sa-ta-bo!" And their powers instantly doubled as Craig was now getting pushed even harder. "Ngh! Dammit! I won't lose! HRAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Craig let out a powerful scream as he powered up to his second stages maximum power and started to push back against the energy beam slowly engulfing him when all of a sudden he heard his body talking to him. "Craig, dig deeper into yourself and reach the next stage!" Craig was confused as he said to himself, "We have all reached the second stage though!" Suddenly Craig realized something, his body feels the same when he transforms into both stages. 'Wait, is this really the second stage? My body doesn't feel any different from the first stage! It feels the same!' Craig realized something, he and his friends had thought that they went to the second stage but they only Mastered 50% of stage 1 and when they transformed into the second stage, they were really just tapping into the other half of stage 1.
