Dodgeball tournament

Craig, Michael, Thomas, and Scott were all walking and talking down the street to their favorite restaurant. "Boys, I wonder what we should do after we eat, any ideas?" Michael and Scott suggested training but Craig just shook his head. "No, I want to do something other than training for a change." Thomas agreed with him as he just got an idea. "They're holding a dodgeball tournament today, we could do that." Craig was instantly excited at the prospect of going against his friends. "Hell yeah! That sounds awesome!" Thomas laughed a little bit at Craig's reaction and looked towards Michael and Scott to see that they were looking excited as well. "Thomas, you wanna go sign us up for it? We'll head over to the restaurant, do you know where the tournament is?" Thomas just nodded and he started floating but before he flew off he told them the location. "It's up in Canada, so I'll be a few minutes." Thomas sped off towards Canada while the other 3 just kept walking to the restaurant and got seated while waiting for Thomas. Scott was looking in the direction Thomas left. "His energy is only moving a little bit at a time, he's probably in a waiting line would be my guess." Craig ordered a drink for Thomas and the waiter brought everyone's drinks back when Thomas walked up to the table. "Hey guys sorry, there was a line." Thomas sat down and started drinking his drink. "Yeah we kind of figured, do you know what time it starts?" Thomas nodded. "Yeah, it starts about 2 hours and some minutes from now so we have time to eat at least."

(2 hour timeskip because writing about them eating is boring)
The 4 of them had about 5 minutes until it started so they all took off into the sky and were in Canada in less than 2 seconds. They walked inside the big building and were lead into the center where they could see a huge colosseum looking arena. "Woah, this is pretty cool!" Thomas and Craig were both excited for this and they started seeing people come through the other entrances, one of which caught Craig's eye. Craig walked over towards the person and instantly noticed the mark on his arm was the same as the mark from the Shadow government. "Jex?! You're here?!" Jex turned around as he heard Craig and smirked. "Ah, you and your friends are here. At least now it won't be boring." Craig smirked right back at him and walked over towards his team, noticing that all of them had some pretty high battle power. "Who's your friends? Do they work for you or something?" Jex just nodded before he outstretched his hand towards Craig. "Yeah they do. Just so you know, I don't plan on going easy today." Craig was a little skeptical but shook his hand anyways. "Good, I'd be offended otherwise." Jex just chuckled and turned back around as Craig did the same.

"EVERYBODY GET WITH YOUR TEAMS! THE MATCH STARTS IN ONE MINUTE!" Craig made it over to his team as he noticed that they were the smallest team as everyone had at least 8 or more people. "GET READY EVERYBODY! THE 2026 CANADIAN DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT WILL COMMENCE IN 5!" Everyone got down in a running stance besides Craig's team and Jex's team. "4!" Thomas and Craig looked at each other and nodded as they could see most of the teams looking at them. "3! 2!" Craig breathed in and out as the announcer shouted the last number. "1! GO!"

Every team shot off towards the middle as balls were soon flying and people were getting out left and right. Craig was walking towards the edge of his side as people started to target his team now. Craig decided that he wouldn't fly and wouldn't use any of his powers to make it interesting as he assumed the others did the same since they were all playing normally. Craig dodged every single ball coming his way without even trying and even started catching balls rendering people out. Thomas was just standing there staring at people who were throwing balls at him and he simply just stepped out of the way. "Damn you guys are slow!" Suddenly 4 more teams were targeting them as they all threw balls their way. Craig was currently throwing balls left and right while laughing at people he hit. "That's right! I'm gonna win this!" Scott and Michael were doing pretty good but while they were both backing up they got balls thrown at them as they rammed into each other and got hit with balls. "You got me out!" Scott responded by yelling back. "No you got me out!" Both of them walked off towards the back as they just sat against the wall. "Idiots." Craig and Thomas both sighed in agreement.
