I love sibling dynamics, what can I say?
also I had this one prewritten so I thought I might as well post it since I'm working on other chapters

Y/n's family was known for a lot of things.
Her adopted father, Phil, was a famous explorer. He had gone on many exciting adventures before finally settling down.
Her older brother Techno was the one already proving to be a strong fighter some day. Though he sometimes came off as rude when people met him for the first time.
Her second older brother, Wilbur, was known in the nearby village for his talent in music. He was already writing and playing his own songs for the local townspeople.
Tommy, the baby brother of the siblings, was known for causing mischief with his friend Tubbo. Usually it was letting animals loose in the town or playing pranks on others, but it had never resulted in anything major.
But Y/n felt as if there was nothing special about her. She had wings, like Phil did, though she was adopted just like her brothers. She was quiet and well behaved, she didn't have any outstanding talents, she wasn't a good fighter. In Y/n's opinion, she was fairly useless.
She was still learning how to fly. Phil taught her every other day after he taught them all basic education-things. Usually it was learning in the mornings, and then free time in the afternoons. Weekends were always free-days.
So far, Y/n was actually doing well with her flight lessons. Maybe it was the one thing she felt she was actually becoming good at. She could take off and land as if she were an actual bird. Flying past a certain height was the only thing that she was still finding difficult, mostly because she ran out of stamina before getting too high. It was also hard for her to carry things and keep her balance at the same time.
Phil was encouraging though. He never lost his patience with her, but he was also firm while teaching. He wanted to make sure that she learned something new each time they practiced.
But whenever she wasn't learning to fly, she was either laying in bed and staring up at the ceiling or sitting out in the garden to talk with the birds.
She wasn't a very interesting person.
Jesper was her favorite crow. He was always there no matter when she came out.
Currently she had just arrived out in the yard, sitting criss-cross in the grass there. Jesper is sat comfortably on her knee as they talk.
The crow finally tips it's head to the side before letting out a small caw. It's words can be understood in the girl's head somehow.
"Oh I'm not sad, I just needed to be outside for a little while," She replies to it with a reassuring smile.
The crow hops in front of her, settling down into the grass ahead of her, before continuing.
And so, Y/n has a brief conversation with the bird. Him and the other crows were her only friends. Of course, her brothers were her friends too, but she didn't hang out with them as much as the flock.
Her conversation is finally cut short as Tommy runs out into the yard with her, scaring Jesper and the others away for the time being.
"Hi Y/n!" He plops down in the grass beside her. "Who were you talking to?"
"The crows," Y/n tells him.
"That's silly," Tommy giggles, probably not believing her. Then again, she hadn't told anyone that she talked to the crows anyway. "Anyway, Techno and Wilbur are going to the woods and we're gonna go with them,"
