Tommy stands in eerie silence as his eyes lock onto Wilbur, standing at the alter where they had once tried to revive him.
Except he was actually revived this time. Standing before the boy and his friends was no longer the kind, soft-spoken ghost, but instead a tall man with a slightly-threatening aura about him.
"Wilbur...?" Tommy finally mutters out, prompting the now-revived Wilbur to turn to face them.
"Oh, hello Tommy," Wilbur cracks a small smile at him, eyes tired, yet still filled with secrets about them. "It's been a while hasn't it?"
Tommy falls silent.
"Come on now, no warm greetings for your big brother?" The brunette opens his arms and takes a step forwards, but the boy only takes a step back. "Tommy-"
"No no no no you're not supposed to be back-! You died!"
"I guess I did," Wilbur shrugs a little. "Let's see, it's been about...thirteen years, give or take? Remember when I told you that my personal limbo was a train platform, Tommy?"
"Vaguely..."
"Well imagine my surprise when a train finally pulls into the station," He folds his arms behind his back in a formal manner and begins to pace about the shrine, looking it over with interest as he speaks. "And comes to a stop in front of me. I met a guy there, a weird version of me with a yellow sweater, he was crying though...a real downer he was..."
"Ghostbur...?" Tubbo mumbles softly.
"That's his name? Anyway he was a crybaby," Wilbur waves him off. "But the real kicker is that the conductor of that train was Dream,"
"You can't trust him, Wil!" Tommy blurts out immediately.
"He saved me!" His older brother retorts. "He arrived at the station and let me get on the train with him, and then suddenly I'm standing here as the sun rises- wait! The sunrise!"
Wilbur suddenly darts off, climbing up the debris of the walls of what was once L'Manberg. The three boys quickly follow after him, and find him once again, this time standing on a pile of rocks as he looks out over the hills at the rising sun.
"My sunrise..." He utters before whipping around to look at the teenagers standing just below him, smiling still, but this time in a slightly more genuine way than before. "Where's Y/n? I want her here with me. I need to see her again,"
Tommy tenses a little, but Ranboo doesn't notice the change in mood.
"She lives in the Pogtopia ravine. That's where the two of you- well, that's where she and Ghostbur went after your underground house was destroyed on Doomsday," The enderman boy says suspiciously.
"Then let's go see her!" Wilbur claps his hands together merrily and jumps off of the rock pile. "Come on! Don't just stand around!"
"Wilbur there's something you should know-" Tommy tells him as walks quickly to keep up with his older brother's fast pace.
"Hey is that a grave for Schlatt?" Wilbur cuts him off and pauses in front of Schlatt's gravesite. "Do I have a grave?"
"You do, it's in the forest..." Tommy pauses briefly as he takes in a shuddering breath of air. "B-Beside Y/n's,"
