"Technoblade stop!" Tommy yells frantically. "You can't do this-"
Technoblade whips around to face his younger brother along with the others, Quackity, Tubbo, and Fundy, eyes filled with rage. The fact that they were all standing together again was surprising, considering all of their past conflicts since the fall of their country, but causes him no concern.
"You wouldn't understand, Tommy. I need to do this,"
"We can't let you bring her back, Technoblade," Quackity adds threateningly. "Now hand over that book,"
The pink-haired many just laughs while opening up the glowing, magical book he holds in his hands.
"Nothing you can do will ever stop me from bringing her back,"
"Y/n-" Tommy looks past Techno at the translucent ghost behind him. "Y/n please come over here. Get away from him-"
It was no lie that, like Ghostbur, everyone preferred Y/n's ghost to her living form. In her life Y/n had caused just as much destruction as Technoblade. They had been interpretable partners in crime until Y/n had been killed towards the end of the Doomsday battle.
"But I like Techno, he's nice to me," Y/n says quietly. "Why are you guys so upset?"
Tommy opens his mouth to continue, but he if he did explain, he knew that he would have to tell her that he was afraid if of her living form, and that he would finally have to bring up all of the horrible things that she had done.
Y/n's ghost was kind, passive even. She did her best to resolve conflicts peacefully whenever she was around. If one didn't know her, it would be impossible to belief the chaos she was capable of creating.
Technoblade had never told her. He was afraid of scaring her or making her cry, and he hated seeing her in any kind of pain, whether it be physical or emotional.
Tommy remembers seeing him holding her still body in his arms in the midst of the ruins left after Doomsday. There was an arrow in her chest that punctured all the way through to the other side.
It was the first time that he had ever seen Techno cry.
No one knows who had shot her.
After that, Techno had isolated himself from society for nearly four months. The only ones to speak to him were Phil and Ranboo, and it took them ages to finally get him out of the house.
Now though, Techno had no plans in letting Y/n go ever again.
The ghost of the woman grabs onto the back of Techno's cloak as she hides behind him. She knew that she would be unable to diffuse this situation.
What if Techno got hurt? The people in front of him had so many weapons, plus they looked prepared for a hard fight.
Was it all because of her...? If so, then she didn't want Techno to get hurt because of her.
"Tech..." She murmurs quietly. "Bring me back..."
I need to keep you safe...
He doesn't look at her, but he nods in acknowledgement to her words. The open book in his hands suddenly explodes in a bright green light, overflowing with so much magic at once that their enemies take several steps back in anxiety.
