Chapter 14: REDRUM

Woke up early this morning to gather all the evidence needed to help the private investigator. I'm not sure if the information is useful but at least I tried. To be honest I'm scared for the private investigator to say that she can't help me and that I'll never see Sayaka again. While I was thinking to myself I heard a knock at the door, she's here.

I got up to open the door, "Hey, I'm Kyoko Kirigiri. The private investigator you called last night." "Hey, uhh come in" I remember her from somewhere but I don't remember. Kyoko confidently strut her way to our dining room area and took a seat, I followed right after. I showed her all the evidence and information I had gathered. I started by showing her the video surveillance footage of Sayaka leaving the apartment complex. "Interesting, was Sayaka the type to hang out with mysterious men." "No, but at night she would leave our apartment and not return until early in the morning." I said thinking about how stupid I was not noticing how much she was in danger. Kyoko thought for a minute, "I remember her from college, she had a crush on Makoto. I also remember how Leon would follow her everywhere, I'm assuming without her consent." Why didn't I realize we attend the same college, that's why she looked so familiar. Other than that all the puzzle pieces clicked. It has to be Leon he's the only one who could have done this. "I know what you're thinking you think it's Leon, but before I say this could be true let's look at the rest of the evidence first." Kyoko examined the surveillance footage. She zoomed in on the car licence plate. "If you look closely at the license plate you can see the numbers 11 0 3 7. And if you turn it upside down you get Leon." I stared at the plate number and she was right it was exactly how she explained it. "Now that we know who did it all I need to do is to find out where he went. I hope you don't mind if I do this part myself, I promise I'll keep you updated on the investigation." I nodded my head in agreement. I didn't want to agree but it's for the best. Kyoko left after that, I just hope she can find her before school starts back up in a 1 month.

*time skip 3 days later*

Kyoko kept her promise she was telling me everything that happened in the investigation. For the past 3 days she was trying to convince the school to give her Leon's number so we can tell him to release my girlfriend. Today they finally caved in. I let Kyoko call him because if I did I would cry to much. Now all I have to do is wait till I get a call back from Kyoko. All of a sudden my phone started buzzing, "Hello." "Hey Mukuro, Leon won't budge but don't worry I got his address from his phone number. So tomorrow we should run down their and raid his place." Trying not to cry I replied, "Ok, that's a plan then." "Alright I'll send you the address now through a text, bye" "bye" I said in the most monotone voice. I couldn't just go there unprepared so I called Maki and Peko and asked if they could join me to kick Leon's ass. It was a well over do ass kicking anyway. I thought about what I was going to use. A gun? No that's to loud and bloody. Brass knuckles? Not enough blood. That's when I thought of my special knife I used in the army. I kept it hidden I didn't want Sayaka to know about my dark past. Sayaka has been begging me to go to the beach to cheer me up but I didn't want her to get suspicious of my scars. I've killed so many people only at the age of 12. I thought I would never have to harm someone like that again until I hurt that reporter a few days ago. Regardless it doesn't matter at this point, I just want Sayaka back.

Today is the day that bitch ass mother fucker Leon gets what he deserves. Maki, Peko, and I were sitting in my living room before ot was time to go. We agreed to take Peko's car as it was the most secure and secret. "Guys I'm just telling you if we kill him I know people who can cover it up." Peko said looking at a picture of a famous yakuza boss.
