Chapter 6: I'm In Love With You

After that library incident, the week only got worse for Sayaka. There were links posted everywhere around campus. The words "Sayaka is a dirty slut" was written on the girl's bathroom mirrors. Peko and I spent hours trying to erase anything that would ruin Sayaka's reputation. Maki Harukawa (the red-eyed girl from the party) told me that the guy who posted the video on the internet was the same guy who got her boyfriend drunk. His name is Kokichi Ouma. So me, Peko, and Maki went to his dorm room to force him to take down that video of Sayaka. After he deleted the video Kokichi said that he sent the video to other people as well. He sent one to Miu Iruma, Teruteru Hanamura, and Kazuichi Souda which was one of the guys she kissed. So we spent the rest of today tracking down those people making sure they deleted the video off of their phones.

When I got back to my dorm I went to check on Sayaka. I walked over to her door, slowly opening the door. "Sayaka are you okay", I said as I slowly poked my head in her door. She wasn't in her room. Maybe she went to the bathroom. No, that wouldn't make sense. The dorm is too quiet. I ran to the bathroom. Why is it locked!? I kicked down the door...

"SAAAAAAAAYAAAAAAKAAA"!!!!!!! I quickly picked up Sayaka and ran to my car. She can't die, not right now! I can't believe people bullied her so much that she committed suicide. I was so focused on Sayaka that I almost forgot I was driving. When I got to the hospital I ran to the front counter with Sayaka in my arms. A nurse ran up to me,  "W-What s-seems to be the- OMG WHAT HAPPENED? IS S-SHE A-ALRIGHT!??!!?!". "I don't know that's why I brought her here". While I was talking the purple-haired nurse rolled a stretcher over to me. I placed Sayaka on the stretcher. The nurse then rolled Sayaka away from me and told me to take a seat in the waiting room. I waited for hours and hours hoping she'll be ok. Finally, the nurse came back out. "Is she ok", I said as I got up from my chair. The nurse looked back at me, "She's going to be ok, Do you want to see her"? I let out a big relief, "Oh thank God". I followed the nurse where Sayaka was resting.

I entered Sayaka's hospital room. Sayaka's face lit up as I entered, "Mukuro, You saved me". "Yeah, I guess I sorta did", I realized that without me Sayaka would be dead. To be honest I've become more sociable when I'm with Sayaka. I pulled out my phone to check number 2 off of my list. Going to that party and hunting down Sayaka's bullies made me realize that I've become more sociable. "Mukuro I have something to tell you", I took a seat next to Sayaka's bed. "What do you want to tell me". Sayaka looked deep into my eyes, "I-I'm in love with you. I want to be your girlfriend". She loves me back. I can't believe she loves me. "I love you too". I placed my hand on Sayaka's. Sayaka then lays her head on my shoulder.
