A few days after the hospital conversation, everyone collected at Derek's home, his mother helping to explain everything that needed to be said. Talia had dealt with this twice as long as James has, and she knew more than James ever could, with her being the family alpha.
Everyone had sworn themselves to secrecy and swore to never tell another living souls about what had truly happened to Charlie in the school, it was hard to not tell the truth, but they were not only protecting James and Charlie, but every supernatural person in town, including James' family.
It was a lot of information for anyone to understand, let alone teenagers who were shoved into this world by accident.
Bells was starring at the wall in front of her. Eyes wide and shocked, mouth slightly open. Her hands were shaking as she rubbed them together, knee bouncing from the nerves and her mind trying to make sense of everything.
April was watching her sister pace back and forth. She didn't know why her sister was freaking out but it was starting to make her nervous as if there was a secret between the two of them that she didn't know of. Emmy would tell her anything and everything that anyone would tell her. It wasn't a secret that the sisters were close but April was starting to question if she knew everything her sister did.
Ethan was sitting in the armchair that sat in the corner. His face was stoic, as if he was trying to seem relaxed to everyone in the room. He was watching everyone's facial expressions and gaging what their reactions could be to the news he assumed was coming and he was waiting for the right moment to jump into action to stop something that he knew was coming. He just didn't know who he would have to protect.
Emmy was pacing, her hands were stuck in her hair from all of the head scratches she was giving herself. It felt like her mind was going a thousand miles an hour and her brain was struggling to keep up and to make sense of everything. She could only guess as to why everyone was standing in the Hale house for some "unexplained reason".
Paul has a look of confusion coming across his face, his eyebrows were furrowed, his hands were fidgeting with anything he could get his hands on. He didn't know why he was asked here but he was anxiously waiting for the news he was bound to receive.
Jeff was the only one that was acting like nothing was wrong. Continuously walking around the Hale house grabbing whatever he could find to keep himself busy. Currently he was reading a book on a chair that he had dragged in from the kitchen, the book seemed like it was in another language, and that was bizarre. He wasn't a studious person, so it was very abnormal for him just to pick up a book and read for no reason. Camden was staring at him with anger, wondering why he was so calm with whatever was going on in the house.
Jordan and Michael were somewhere else in the Hale house, not currently in the room with everyone else, and that was silencing to anyone in the room, Jordan and Michael were always there whenever anyone decided to get together.
