James knew that sometimes his mother knew best, he trusted her opinion enough to have her help him make certain decisions on certain choices.

It was something that most teenage boys never agreed with, most of them believed that they knew best and not their parents.

James' mother as a very smart person, she handled her family on her own, had a booming business. She was a hard working business owner, loving mother, caring friend and wonderful person all around. But James knew that he should be scared of her, only because he knows that she isn't the innocent PTA mom that she acts like to keep their family secret. Most boys are not scared of their parents, especially a normal teenage boy.

Well James was not a normal teenage boy.

He knew better.

James sits on the footrest of the lounge chair that his cousin currently layer upon. James was leaning his elbows onto his knees, fiddling with his hands, rubbing them together anxiously. He was nervous of what was to come now that Charlie knew.

He didn't plan on her finding out this early in whatever was going on between them. He couldn't call it a relationship because it wasn't, but he couldn't call them just friends because it isn't that simple. He calls them complicated. He knew that his mother wouldn't be happy with 'complicated', he knew that he would have to explain what happened and what led Charlie to this conclusion.

He didn't know what he did to show her his secret, he didn't believe he did anything to show it, he believed that he was safe. He was wrong.

"Hey baby, how was your day?", his mother's voice carries through the front room, which he was currently sitting in. He hadn't even heard the door open.

James continues to look at the ground, ignoring her question,he plans on keeping his eyes focusing on anything other than his mother's eyes that he knows will make him tell her everything. He couldn't keep a secret from his mother. Secrets could be a choice between danger or safety. He would rather risk telling the secret if it meant a higher chance at safety, he would take it.

He hears his mother's heels click lightly throughout the house, her walking into the main rooms looking for him. She knew he was home.

Derek had a plan to hangout with his friends from basketball. Derek was able to control his shift when he played sports, mostly. It helped his focus and he loved it, how could anyone refuse him being happy. The only time he seemed to have trouble controlling his shift was on the night of the full moon. No one knew what time he was coming home, he had been staying out later than normal lately.

Cora was at a play date with one of Talia's friends daughter, she had less control than any one of her siblings, it was easier for her to play with someone who knows what she is just in case she has an episode with her anger. She was having a sleepover that night, Cora had been begging for weeks to let her have a sleepover, and so to please her and to have her stop asking, Talia said she could.
