The arrival of two mysterious strangers to Camelot marks the dawning of a new threat to the great kingdom. Will Merlin, Arthur, Gwen and Morgana find the courage to answer the call? Can they help their new friends to defeat a deadly foe and prove...
Under the cover of darkness, another storm was rolling in.
As a brilliant blaze of lightening illuminated the sky, a raven suddenly appeared from the clouds. With an urgent squawk, it swooped down to rest on the window sill of a brightly lit room.
Having settled itself on its perch, the raven peered inside with jet-black eyes. Uther Pendragon was seated upon his throne, with his back to the window.
"Beware!" squawked the bird, beating its wings frantically. "Danger is coming. Summon the Four! Summon the Four!"
At the sound of this warning, Uther rose slowly to his feet. Another flash of lightening lit up his stormy face.
A shadow feel over the raven. Its squawk of protest seemed even louder the thunder...
Morgana awoke with a start . At first, she could only lie in bed, panting for breath. The nightmares which had haunted her for as long as she could remember had returned. And they were getting worse. Gaius frequently prescribed sleeping draughts, but they only ever provided a few blissful hours of rest before the dreams returned.
The silence did little to comfort Morgana. If anything, her fear was growing with every passing second. Usually, faithful Guinevere would come running at the sound of her mistress' cries. But not tonight.
Morgana's eyes narrowed as confusion settled in. This was not like Gwen. What could have kept her from tending to her mistress in an hour of need?
Then she heard it.
From somewhere deep within the walls of Camelot's castle, came the sound of a hunter's horn. Morgana couldn't explain why, but somehow, she found herself drawn to the sound. It seemed to stir something within her, but what exactly it was, she couldn't say.

Silently, Morgana turned to survey the door. Did she dare leave the safety of her chambers to investigate?
One thing was for certain: sleep wouldn't be coming back to her easily. Not yet, anyway. Surely, investigating the source of this strange sound shouldn't take long?
Another blast was enough to make up Morgana's mind. She slipped soundlessly out of bed.
Then she froze. Until now, Morgana had failed to notice that her pillow was bathed in a beautiful golden glow - but there was no question to why this was so.
Impulsively, Morgana reached under her pillow. Once again, her fingers closed around the soft golden feather. Morgana slowly drew it out. For a moment, she simply stood there, clutching it to her chest. A feeling of peace and tranquillity seemed to fill the room. Puzzling over the meaning behind her nightmare could wait, whereas finding the source of the noise couldn't. If she didn't go now, Morgana feared that she might miss her opportunity altogether.
With long black locks rippling out behind her like ribbons, Morgana slipped out of the chamber, taking great care to ensure that the door was closed tightly behind her.
Candles flickered from dark holders which were dotted here and there along the wall, filling the castle with a dim, warm glow. Currently, the corridor was deserted, but Morgana wasn't taking her chances. She slipped the feather into her pocket, before setting off briskly down the corridor.
Somehow, Morgana found herself back in the very same corridor where she and Gwen had confronted the guards only hours earlier. Her green-brown eyes scanned the area eagerly. The noise wasn't far away; she was sure of it. But where could it be coming from?
Wait... There it was again! What's more, it was definitely louder than before!
New hope surged through Morgana. Hitching up her skirts, she hurried down the corridor as quickly as she dared.
Without warning, her pace slowed almost to a stand-still.
This corridor led directly into the castle dungeons! But why would the noise lead her here? Was it a trap?
Suddenly, Morgana stiffened. Footsteps- and they were unbearably close...
With a frightened gasp, Morgana turned to survey the passage down which she'd just come. To her horror, a sinister shadow loomed on the wall behind her.
Not knowing what else to do, Morgana made haste for a nearby archway. Only once she was in relative safety did she dare to stop and catch her breath.
When she finally plucked up the courage to take a peak out from under the archway and check if the coast was clear, Morgana felt her blood run cold.
The figure was heading in her direction, which was just what she'd been trying to avoid!
There was no doubt about it. She had been spotted...
