We Shouldn't

2 Weeks later:

Tessa's POV:

I put on my plain white vans and curl my hair. After Steph and I finished getting ready and we say goodbye to her Mom. We've chosen to walk because Steph really wants to hook up with Tristian and I don't think she wants people to see her Mom drop her off.

When we get to the party Steph and I join the group at our usual party spot at Zed's place. I see Hardin sitting in his own chair, thank god he isn't with a girl right now because I would never been able to handle that.

"Wow Tess that outfit is so cute with that little bump of yours" Molly tells me.

"Aww thank you" I say putting my hands on the bump.

"So when do you find out the gender?" She asks.

"In about two months, so I think when we are back at school. Basically that's when the doctors said" I explain and sit down in the free chair which is close to Hardin's. Only because it's the only free chair not because I want to sit next to him. I hate him so why would I. I think to myself.

I see Hardin starting to scull his drink. He is drunk right now, I almost feel bad for the way we last left things and I miss him so much.

"We should play a game" Tristian says and everyone agrees.

"Suck or blow. Everyone just move to the ground but keep in your spots" He says having a quick look at Steph, I know he is only saying this because he is next to Steph. His strategy is usually kiss when it's the second round, only so it doesn't look like he wanted it. But I think everyone knows his tricks he's kissed Steph so many times playing this game. And at this point I think we are all questioning why they aren't together yet.

"Why pick this game I'm pregnant and always short of breathe, can't we do a different one" I explain to him, that is a really bad pregnancy symptom I've been having lately and it is so annoying. I can't even walk like a short distance without getting puffed out.

"We can try this out and if it doesn't work out we can play like truth or dare" He says.

"But whoever you have to kiss but chose not to you have to do a dare. Chosen by one of us" Tristian explains.

"Okay lets get started" Tristian says.

Molly starts with the card and it then goes to Jace. Then Jace passes it to a random girl, which goes to Zed and then Tristian. I can see the look on Steph's face she really does like Tristian and I think he really likes her. Steph takes it and passes it to me. It would be really weird if Zed dropped it cause he would've had to kiss Tristian, and if Steph dropped it she'd have to kiss me. I start to turn and of course it blows away from my mouth. Stupid pregnancy breath. Then I look next to me and of course its Hardin. Fuck I forgot he was next to me. How did I not notice him, well thank you lord for doing this.

"I'm not doing it" we both say at the same time.

"Come on guys its just one kiss. You's have done a lot more then that, I mean Tessa is pregnant" Zed says.

"Fuck up" Hardin says to Zed.

"You really had to mention that" I say annoyed.

"Well you were talking about being pregnant before" Zed states.

"Yeah but I wasn't mentioning that 'he' is the father" I point to Hardin.

"You know that 'he' has a name" Hardin says to me and I just look at him.
