"Hey, you doin okay?" Callie stood outside the door of the house, Eight looked up at her.
"I think I was too harsh on Three. I want her to know that she hurt us, but I know she has her own issues as well..." Eight frowned.
"Dont worry, Eight! I know Three. She's tough and will forgive you. Three is very odd with feelings. You'll have to give her time to share the full story." Callie said, her tone wasn't confident, just bubbly.
I know shes trying to help, but I dont think she really understands... Eight sighed. Suddenly, Four and Three stepped outside, Marie following behind.
"Hey, Eight..." Three trailed off, looking shameful. Nervousness flowed through Eight. She hoped They weren't still fighting.
"Eight!! Remember when we used to go shopping all the time? Lets do that again sometime!" Four ran up to octoling, their bubbly personality showing again.
"Huh," Eight was caught off-guard by the sudden good atmosphere. "Oh! Uhm, sure! Maybe next weekend." Eight smiled at the young inkling. Three was standing in front of Eight now.
"Uhm, I wanted to say...I'm sorry, Eight, I heard what you said and I never meant to hurt you guys..." Three was looking at Eight, but it was clear she was talking to everyone.
"I guess I just need time to discover these new feelings, and running away from them wont do anything." She concluded. Eight smiled teary-eyed at the shorter agent.
"Aw, Three! I know these times are hard for you, but we will always support you!" Eight sobbed pulling the inkling into a hug. After a second, Four yelped and ran in for a group-hug.
"Come back next weekend so we can go shopping, remember Three?" Four called from Eights apartment.
"I know, I know. I'm only gonna be gone to watch my sister and pack my things." Three replied from the bus-stop.
"Alright, i'm heading back to Marie and Callie's. Bye!!" Four waved to Three, and began walking down the sidewalk.
"Bye." Three was happy to see her friend in a good mood again. She stood waiting for the bus to arrive and take her to her parents.
"WAIT!!" a voice called from behind her. Three turned her head to see a familiar octoling running towards her. Catching her breath, Eight caught up to Three.
"I want to come with you."
"WHAT!?" Three cried out in surprise. "These are my parents we're talking about. You know they dont like octolings, OR visitors."
"I know it sounds crazy, but I have a feeling that if your parents just need a new perspective-" Eight was cut off.
"No, Eight, I dont trust my parents enough. It'll just start drama." Three said coldly.
"Three, just trust me, please!" Eight pleaded. After a second of thinking, Three let out an aggravated growl.
"Argh...Fine! But my parents are strict and will probably not approve," She warned. "So lets just make this visit quick. After this ill never have to deal with my parents again."
Eight had clearly come prepared for Three to say yes, she already had a bag packed for one night.
"So if your parents are so bad, what about your sister? " Eight wondered out loud. Three pretended not to hear. As the bus pulled up, the two stepped inside.
