The number 17 car pulls into the pit road before coming to its pit stop. The number 24 car pulls into its pit stop that is in front of the number 17 car.

"Jack, you realize you got this in the bag, right?" Buddy Hubbard asks Jack Toretto as he unclips the net on Jack's window. Jack takes the water that Buddy offers him. "Season's wrapped up, man. Doesn't matter where you place."
"I'm telling you, I got intermittent miss," Jack says as he hands the water back to Buddy. "For the last two laps."
"On it!" Buddy says before turning to one of the pit crew members. "Get those plug wires!"
"Jakob! Now," Jack yells at his youngest son, who happens to be the crew member that Buddy was yelling at. Jakob nods before raising the hood of the car as Dominic, Jack's oldest son, rushes over.

Buddy walks over to the number 24 car where Christian Logan is talking to his daughter, Zoe Logan, while his son, Jack Logan, checks everything under the hood.
"Jack is going for it," Buddy tells Christian as he hands him a water, causing Christian to nod.
"Hey, Papa," Zoe says as she leans against the window while Buddy takes the water back.
"Tell me what you see Zoe," Christian orders as he looks at his daughter proudly.
"Got an oil spill going into turn two," Zoe explains as she begins to list everything that she and Dom have seen. "Bell's driving safe. Corbin's got a sponsor in the stands, so he's pushing it. Jack's got a real problem with car 23."
"Linder," Christian says with a nod as he has seen it too. Dom begins to argue with Linder's crew, who are two spaces back from Jack.
"Pussies!" Zoe yells at Linder's crew while flipping them off, causing Christian to laugh while shaking his head.

"Hey! Leave it," Jack tells Dom, who is still arguing with Linder's crew. "He's just pissed because Chris and I have the spots in the Busch Series next season, not him. Life's got no shortage of guys like Kenny Linder."
"You're good!" Jakob tells him as he closes the hood before patting it.
"It's not about being the stronger man, Dom," Jack advises his son, who is clipping the net back. "It's about being the bigger one." Jack takes off back onto the track. Linder follows behind him before bumping into the back of another car.

Jack closes the hood on Christian's car before he takes off, eventually passing Linder, who bumps into him.
"I swear to god, this guy," Zoe says as she shakes her head while watching the race.

"Pop, turn two, turn two!" Dom says through his headset.
"Got it. I'm walking him in," Jack says as he drives high on the track.
"Papa, oil spill is coming up. Jack's walking Linder into it," Zoe says through her headset as she stands with Dom and her brother.
"Got it," Christian says as he moves out of Jack's way. Jack quickly drops lower on the track as he sees the oil spill that Dom had mentioned, causing Linder to drive into it which causes him to slightly lose control and bump into the wall.

"Tell me what you see, Dom," Jack says as Dom and Zoe quickly move to where they can a better view of the track.
"He's gonna come at you for that," Dom says as he keeps looking between his dad and Linder. "Get ready on your left." Linder drops to Jack's left while Jack looks down at his dash as it begins to make noise before Christian takes his chance to pass Jack. Linder bumps into Jack, causing his car to turn before connecting with Christian's car which connects with the wall as both cars catch fire. The cars roll as they are hit by another car while Dom and Zoe rip their headsets off before running towards the track with Buddy and Zoe's brother right behind them. Buddy grabs Dom while Jack grabs his sister, holding them back from being ran over as they cry and yell for their fathers.
