Masa was already smiling brightly at me after he was done talking to his phone. His expression has made a 360-degree turn as he looked so dim when I first found him waiting for me beside his car. He was talking Japanese fluently to somebody that I got curious as to who he was talking to and what they were talking about that made him be that serious.

"I didn't know you can speak fluent Japanese like that." I asked as I went inside his car. We decided to eat in a restaurant close to the university and use his car so he can send me back after diner to get my own car before going to the hospital.

"Haven't I told you before my dad is Japanese?" He answered with another question. He was looking like he's trying to remember something he wasn't sure of. He was like this since he came back from Japan. If I haven't known him before, I would totally think he is another person. Or it could be his twin brother who pretends to be him, like in the movie Parent Trap or something.😬 But Masa told me he was an only child and that his parents got divorce when he was still young.

"You have. But I haven't heard you speaking like that before. So cool. I can take you with me when I watch my favorite anime without subtitles and make you translate it to me instead." I smiled at him thinking of that scenario in my head.

"I can do that. But I doubt you would be able to concentrate with that set up P." He smiled back to me.

How indeed would I be able to concentrate watching something while he's lying on my lap looking so tempting as he translates to me in Thai using that adorable voice of his? I have to plan this carefully and invite him to my place soon.

"Hmmm. Then who were you talking to? You looked so serious." I asked trying to push away my perverted thoughts.

"Err. A cousin of mine? She was telling me how my grandmother got sick the other day. I was so worried." He responded looking all sad. I extended my hand to pinch on his soft face lightly. He pouted at me and flicked his face away.

"I don't want you to be sad. It's gonna be ok. I'm sure your grandma is one tough cookie like you are." I told him now rubbing my thumb to the place where I pinched him. He begin smiling again and concentrated on the road infront of him.

"So you like eating fish?" We were in the restaurant and Masa ordered a crispy fish with tamarind sauce. There are still so many things I didn't know about him.

"Yeah. I also like beef. But I will have fish for tonight." He closes the menu and beamed at the waitress who immediately blushed.

"I'll have some spicy beef pad thai please. Thank you." I ordered something with beef because Masa said he likes it too. I'll share some with him.

Our first date before was also in this restaurant. Back then I never felt anything for him. It was more like eating with a friend than a lover.

Today though was like a rewind. It's as if we're given another chance to rewrite that first date. Now that I'm seeing him in a whole new perspective, I would like to make it up to him and let him feel how special he is to me now.

"Stop staring at me like that ai Vee! Damn it." He said bowing down a little to hide his embarassment. I must have stared at him for too long.

"Hey! You are cursing at me more often lately. I do not like it." I scolded. He was previously always so polite with me.

"Whose fault is that? You are always teasing me."

"I love teasing you. I like seeing you blush when I do."

"Ugh. Stop already." He covered his face with his hands. He is really so cute.

We talked more while waiting for our food. It was mostly me who engaged him into questions, asking many things I have never known about him yet.
