Jay walked out of the room and into the viewing room, "the body's by the water" he sighed. Hank nodded and pointed to hailey, "get the team suited up let's go" he waved her off. Jay watched as his girlfriend, and partner all in one, left the room then looked back over to hazel who was now sat with her chin on her fist, "this just got a whole lot messier" he sighed. Hank nodded, "at least we know she doesn't have to go to jail" he squeezed jays shoulder before leaving to go join the team in gearing up.  Jay eventually joined the team as they drove to the location, and there they found it, the decomposing body sat in between a few rocks, god.

They arrived back at the district and immediately went to check on hazel, jay and hailey walked into the viewing room and saw the kid sat there just staring at the wall blankly, "you think she's hiding anything else?" Hailey sighed.  Jay shrugged, "who knows" he spoke softly.  He sighed and wandered back into the interrogation room, "how you holding up?" He smiled and sat down.  Hazel looked up, "fine" she nodded.  He smiled and sat down, "it's over, we're done" he nodded.  Hazel kept her eyes down, "but you can't find my dad" She shrugged.  Jay nodded sadly, "no, we can't. Have you got any idea of where he might be?" He sighed.  Hazel shook her head, "nope, I haven't seen him since this morning. But let me guess, you need me to co-operate with you and find him?" She sighed.  Jay tilted his head, "maybe haz, we don't know yet" he smiled sadly.

She laughed a little, "you don't have to walk on egg shells around me, I've been here too many times before. Seen too many of these rooms" she looked around.  Jay smiled sadly, "how many times?" He nodded.  Hazel shrugged, "I don't know but it's definitely over like 1000 times" she looked down, sarcasm taking over at the worst possible time.  Jays heart shattered, "you wanna talk about it?" He smiled sadly.  Hazel shook her head, "there's too much to talk about, it doesn't matter" she smiled weakly.  Jay nodded, "how'd you find me anyways?" She added.  Jay smiled and stood up since he still had a job to do, "a little app called tiktok gave away your whereabouts" he laughed a little.  Hazel groaned, "so you saw my videos?" She pulled a regrettable face.  Jay nodded, "mmhmm, you're famous huh?" He raised an eyebrow.

Hazel tilted her head, "if that's what you wanna call it" she sighed.  Jay kept his eyebrow raised, "think you could make me famous?" He walked towards the door.  Hazel shrugged, "depends, are you funny? Can you dance? Stand and smile at the camera? If you can then you're all good" she smiled weakly, liking this new found humour.  Jay nodded, "I can be and do anything" he smiled weakly, he just doesn't want her wasting away in this room on her own.  Hazel laughed a little, "you'll be famous overnight" she tapped the desk.  She smiled as he let out a small chuckle, "sounds exciting" he smiled weakly then left the room.

About half an hour later jay and hailey walked back into the room, "alright, so we are gonna need you to help us" jay sighed and sat down. Hazel looked up and nodded, "figured you would" she smiled weakly. Hailey smiled sadly, "we have a suspected location but we can't get into the place" she nodded. Hazel nodded, "okay..." she tilted her head. Jay smiled sadly, "it's a club, possibly the one your dad always goes to" he sighed. Hazel nodded, "yeah, I can get in there" she smiled weakly.  Jay nodded, "aright, we'll get you a fake ID and then we'll get this going" he smiled back.  Hazel shook her head, "I don't need one" she laughed a little. Jay looked at hailey, "let's get you wired up" hailey nodded.

Hazel was stood getting her wires on downstairs just watching the unit gear up, "you feeling okay about this?" Jay nodded.  Hazel looked back up to him, "yeah..." she nodded. He just watched as the kids eyes darted around the room curiously, he felt the need to protect her, almost like it was his duty to keep her safe.  They were finally ready, they had planned everything out and it was simple.  Adam and Kevin were gonna go undercover as regulars and hazel was gonna go inside looking for her dad, she will then lead him outside where the unit can snatch him up. It was now time to snatch Norman up so the team drove down to the club and let hazel go through with the plan. Jay and hailey were sat in the back of the van listening in to the audio.

Hazel walked up to the bouncer in her party clothes from before as he looked down and shone the flash light on her, "alright" he waved her in.  She smiled falsely then walked into the club, scanning its every inch in search for her dad.  Jay looked over at hailey, "this feels so wrong" he huffed, hailey smiled and nodded, "we didn't have a choice" she placed a hand on his shoulder.  He nodded then turned his attention back to the wire feed.

It really didn't take her long to find the usual dealers in the club, "where's my dad?" She huffed.  The dealer turned around, "ey ray look who it is, it's jacko junior" he laughed and tapped his dealer friend on the shoulder.  Hazel rolled her eyes, "where's my dad?" She added.  The bigger man who towered over her nodded, "cool it bite sized, he's in the back making a transaction" he laughed.  Hazel huffed, "woah woah woah, where'd you think you're going?" He grabbed her shoulder as she went to walk away.  Hazel stumbled backwards, "to see my dad..." she shook her head, she thought it seemed pretty obvious to be honest.  The man laughed, "I don't think so, what happens back there stays back there. You'll just have to wait until he's done" he sat her down on the chair near his own bench.

She huffed but obeyed, "fine then" she rolled her eyes and looked around her, ugh she hates her dads friends.  Jay and hailey shot each other annoyed glares, the kid should be able to see her dad if she wants, "watch him take years to finish up" hailey huffed, jay nodded in agreement.  About 10 minutes of awkwardness passed, they had listened to the men make uncomfortable remarks at hazel and listened to her confused responses, they were disgusted.

Hazels eyes darted over to the bar where her dad finally walked out, "now you can see him" he huffed.  She stood up and ran over to him, "dad, you didn't tell me you were coming tonight..." she jumped in front of him.  Norman jumped out of his skin, "Jesus Christ haz, you shouldn't be here. How'd you even get here?" He shook his head and barged past her.  She rolled her eyes and followed him, "on foot..." she gave him attitude.  He nodded, "well this is the last time you'll come on your own, you hear me?" He pointed a finger in her face.  She nodded, it sure will be her last time coming here on her own.  He grabbed his jacket, "we're going now" he sighed then lead her out of the club but he soon had a shock when he stepped out of the club to see laser guns pointed at him.

"Chicago PD! Norman Jackson you're under arrest for the murder of Marcus young. Get on your knees!" Hank yelled.  Hazel looked around at everyone then backed away, Norman also done the same but stayed still, he reached his arm out to grab hazel but when he reached out she wasn't in his personal bubble of space.  She slowly backed away until she bumped into someone, "it's okay, I've got you" hailey placed her hands on the teenagers shoulders. She let out the breath she was holding as the red and blue lights flashed around her, Norman stared at her in disbelief as he was pushed into the back of a cop car ready to be transported to the district. Jay walked over to hailey and hazel, "you guys okay?" He looked at them both. Hailey nodded but hazel just kept her eyes on the car with her dad in, "haz you okay?" He crouched down. Hazel just nodded without even looking at him, she had too much to think about right now.
