Thompson passed the ball to me which I caught successfully. I ran in the direction towards the touchdown.
As I reached the 30th yard line I felt myself being tackled to the ground.
"Ughh" I groaned in pain
I tried getting up but fell back down.
The referee blew the whistle and walked over to me with some of my teammates.
"Shit" I laid on the field with my hand over my face
"You good" my teammate asked
I shook my head as I groan in pain.
"SINCERE" I heard Layla voice
"Aye someone get the paramedics" my couch yelled
"Baby what's wrong" Layla asked grabbing my face
I held my knee while squeezing my eyes together.

I woke up to a bright light shining in my face.
"He's up" the nurse said smiling
Layla smiled "are you okay"
"Yea" I nodded
She handed me a water bottle "here"
"I'm gonna go get the doctor" the nurse said walking out
"You had me scared Bubba" Layla said kissing my cheek
"I know I'm sorry" I grabbed her chin and pecked her lips
"Mr.Williams glad to see you awake I'm doctor grey" the doctor said walking in
"Wassup" I nodded my head
"So I have some bad news" he said causing my heart to drop
"Okay"
"Do you want me to tell you this alone or ?" He asked
"No this is my girl whatever you gotta say she can hear"
"Okay then so you've torn your ACL and will need surgery" Doctor Grey said
