"You ready ma ?" I asked Layla as she walked out the room
She nodded her head "yea"
I got up out the chair and grabbed my phone before walking out the door with her behind me.
We were on our way to the doctor appointment.
Once we got to the car I buckled my seat belt and started the car.
"How you feeling ?" I asked her
She woke up this morning having to throw up and so far she already thrown up 3 times.
"Still feel a little nauseous" she said sighing
I rested my hand on her thigh as I made my way to our location.
"You talked to your mom ?"
"No I don't want her worrying about me I'll tell her after we know what going on" she said wrapping her arms around mine

Once we pulled up to the clinic we both got out the car and headed towards the entrance.
Layla went to sign in while I found somewhere for us to sit.
Once she was finished she walked over and sat down next to me.
"How long this gonna take ?" I asked looking at her
She shrugged " shouldn't take long"
She pulled her phone out to watch YouTube.
"You so weird bruh" I said seeing her watch doctor pimple popper
"What ? It's entertaining" she shrugged
"No it's nasty"
"Layla Brooks" the nurse called
We both got up and walked behind her.
"You can wait here the doctor will be with you shortly" the nurse said
"Okay thank you" Layla said as we walked in and sat down
She continued watching YouTube as I just sat there scrolling on my phone.
"Damn can they hurry up" I sighed
