"There you go Williams it's like you never left" coach clapped as I caught the ball
We were currently in practice going over plays.
"Alright boys keep up the good work" he said
"Shit I'm tired" I said holding my hands over my head
"That's all that weed you been smoking, got your ass out of shape" one of my teammates said laughing
I shook my head " Akekeke stop worrying about me and start worrying about them picks you've been dropping" I said walking away

"Nigga thought he ate" Cam said shaking his head
"It's always someone minding my business instead of their own" I shook my head
Looking over I seen Layla standing by the bleachers.
I smiled before running over to her " what you doing here ?"
"I was heading to my car and decided to stop to see you back in action before I left" she smiled
"Well here I am sore and hella tired" I chuckled
"It's okay you'll get back to where you was in no time"
"Yea, how was class ?"
She smacked her lips "stupid mr. Anderson with his 25000 word essay"
I laughed "you never liked that man"
She rolled her eyes " and still don't...like what's the point of me writing an essay if-
"If he's just gonna sit on his fat ass all day and read one page" I laughed finishing her sentence
"You say this everytime he give y'all an essay to do" I said laughing
"It's not funny Bubba" she rolled her eyes
I stopped laughing at looked at her " haven't heard you call me that in a minute ma"
"My bad sin...uhh I have to go I gotta date with sai and I still need to get home and get ready" she said
"Yea I gotta get back to practice anyways"
"LETS GO WILLIAMS" coach yelled
"I'll see you later mamas" I said walking away
"Ouuu I spy with my little eye my favorite couple getting back together"
"Not happening cam, I fucked it up to badly" I sighed
