BRIGHT LIGHTS blinded the young girls sight as her Mother's tight grip dragged her through the tight crowd of people. Her twin brother gazed down at her as their Mother held him in her arms, breaking through the front of the crowd. "Mama," the girl whimpered as she pulled her daughter in front of her and settled her brother down besides her. The older woman looked sorrowful. She gripped her twins shoulders and squeezed them, her lip trembling as she tried to get something out of her mouth before the guard realized there were two children in the crowd. "I love you both," she whispered, stroking her daughters cheek while brushing her sons bangs out of his eyes, "Take care of each other, yeah? For me?". The eldest out of the two opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by arms wrapping around her middle and carrying her away from her Mother. "Mom!" the boy yelled as the gate in front of them finally closed, separating them from their Mother for good. "Let me go!" the girl yelled as she repeatedly banged her fists against the arms that were enclosed around her. Glancing back at her brother, he gave her a look full of pain and confusion as they were shoved into a train cart full of other children.
