TWINES OF BLONDE WERE FROZEN.

Dancing between a pair of slim digits, had a layer of auburn dusted roots been pictured by the world, unable to bend to the will of a trapped perpetrator. A phase that lasted while the seconds blended into horrid minutes, amidst the process of weak curls whispering their way out of an even more pitiful grasp, in which lacked the ability to manipulate something as simple as hair.

For the longest period of time, Ella Samuels had always considered herself trapped in some sort of strange state of denial, regarding these odd circumstances that left a veil of a slight, silver light sheen perspiration to her, luckily, covered, forehead. Even after The Hilltop doctor gave his prognosis, and she allowed herself to fall victim to her own black hole of a mind, had she never really thought about what it would, truly, be like, to watch her willpower to grow weaker, and weaker, with each passing day. To be unable to complete the tasks she could, once, achieve, without a hint of difficulty, in those upcoming days of her limited future.

Which, must have been why, at first, Ella never realized that, her fingers, they simply could not hold onto Judith Grimes' meager hair, for they lacked the strength to do so. Similar, to the way water passed through her skin, and seeped into the crevasses of her absorbent pores, it was evident enough, that her tiny bundles of darkened blonde, could not find a physical home in the center of her rejected palm. A repetitive pattern of every other typical episode, that consumed her digits with the momentary cessation of her natural motor functions, leaving the poorly done, prior braid to melt back into the abundance of the presently oblivious toddler's radiant skull.

An twist of three patches of hair, that Ella had refused to practice on another being for so long, since the two younger beings who carried her family blood still wandered the planet. A style that, it seemed, was cursed to remain a factor of Ella's conflicted past.
