My eyes were drawn towards a young man tied up in a cage. He stared into my eyes almost pleading for help. For some reason, even though I have never met him, I felt a bond between us. I start walking over to him to try and help. "Where are you going Lana?" Danica asked.
"Just keep going I'll be back in a sec." I replied.
I quickened my pace as I got closer to him feeling excited and nervous. He was still staring into my eyes but something in those eyes tells me to wait there and watch. All of the sudden the ground started to shake someone in the distance yelled, "Earthquake!"
As the earthquake continued the horse pulling the cage began to freak out and threw it's rider off. The cage flipped over allowing the man to snap his ropes and kick the cage open. He jumped out and started to sprint towards me, when he reached me he picked me up by my midsectikn and jumped on top of the stone wall. Again he jumped sending us flying towards Danica and Beth landing only a few feet behind their horse. We hid behind a bush and he set me down and brushed dust off his shoulder, as he finished he outstretched his hand offered it to me. I shook his hand and asked, "Who are you?"
"Not important, what is important is that I think we shall meet again and when we do we have to have each other's backs. Agreed?" He asked.
"Yes I felt a special bond when I saw you across the courtyard, it would be my pleasure. Can I just ask one question?" I asked him.
"Ask away." He replied.
"How could you jump so high? That wall was about twenty feet tall." I asked him.
"I don't know I have always been able to jump high, I guess it's just my genes." He replied waving at the last word and sprinted off into the distance.
"See you soon, I hope." I whispered to myself as I returned to Danica and Beth.
