The heavy metal door freaked open shining light on the dirty concrete floor covered in pools of blood and piss. Agrippa shifted his head to the door expecting to see a guard, or guards who would beat him senseless until he was sold. Light shone from behind the man only allowing Agrippa to see his outline but even that looked far different from anyone he has already seen. The man stepped through the door and closed it behind him. Darkness poured back in the room causing Agrippa to quickly blink and get used to the sudden darkness. The man flipped a switch and after a few moments of buzzing the lights began to flicker on and off. The man walked towards Agrippa with a sinister smirk on his face. The man's blue eyes seemed to drill through Agrippa's skull and sort through all of his deepest darkest secrets; for the first time in his life Agrippa felt truly scared. The torture was nothing compared to this. Before he knew he would live because they were only torturing him they weren't trying to kill him they were trying to scare him. This man seemed like if he snapped his fingers Agrippa's eyes would suck into his head and travel through his body were they would grow claws and needles which would rip apart his insides. The lights flickered one last time allowing Agrippa one last look at the man standing with his face inches away from Agrippa's own. His eyes a deep blue seemingly endless from the angle and one drop of blood welling up in his eye and falling down to his chin where it then dropped one final time onto Agrippa's own forehead. The blood was mere centimeters away from Agrippa's face when the lights didn't flicker anymore; they just stayed off for several long minutes.
The lights slowly faded on. Agrippa expected the horrid man to still be above him but when it was bright enough to see all Agrippa saw was a young clean shaven man sitting at a desk with a pen and paper. Every so often the young man looked back at Agrippa with fear in his light pink eyes. Agrippa looked him up and down as he wrote frantically on a paper and when someone knocked at the door he slowly shifted his head in that direction with more fear and anxiety than Agrippa thought was possible. A knock was heard a second time yet this seemed to snap the young man back into as reality causing him to look down at is paper and write even faster than before. On the third knock he yelled, "Please, Please just give me one more minute! You gotta! Please I'm almost done! I've almost found success!"
For several minutes there was no knock. Agrippa couldn't see any feet or shadows under the door. A loud bang was heard and then almost too quickly the door flew open and a guard dressed in heavily armored equipment ran through nearly falling on the floor. The guard balanced himself and first looked at Agrippa but then switched his gaze to the young man. "So how far have you gotten in your experiment Dave? You making any amazing groundbreaking discoveries about our friend here." The guard said sarcastically.
All of the sudden Dave threw himself on the floor and convolsed uncontrollably for several minutes. Finally his erratic movements slowed and he lay face down in a pool of Agrippa's blood. The young man slowly stood up and fur started to grow off of all his skin. The fur was a dark brown about three inches long and at the end they were sharp like quills. Purple steam pumped out of every orifice on Dave's body creating a smell similar to rotten eggs doused in warm vinegar. Claws protruded out of each of his fingers several sharpened bones stuck out of his back and along the bones were lines of blood quickly dripping on the floor. The beast foamed from its mouth as it stared at a frightened guard. Dave lunged for the guard and with one swift movement he had grabbed the guards head and crushed his skull splattering blood all over the walls. The beast then turned his head toward Agrippa and spoke in a rough gravely voice, "When you leave this place you must seek out Ian. Ian will lead you to a girl called Lana. She is a threat to the rebuilding of society. You must kill her." As the beast finished it slowly dissolved into purple gas and floated into the vents.
Agrippa's eyes violently opened and above him was an old man dressed in green and purple robes. The man had one hand on Agrippa's face and the other on a tiny glass globe. Soon after Agrippa awoke the old man pried open his eyes and stared down at Agrippa. His eyes were a deep blue that perceived his soul. After several awkward moments the man asked, "Did you receive your mission?"
Agrippa answered in a voice very unlike his own. He hadn't even tried to speak yet he had no choice whether to talk or to stay silent. His brain didn't seem to control his actions so he seemed forced to say, "Yes master Lana will soon be dead."
