It's already been a few hours and the alarm should be going off anytime soon. This morning I've just been doing chores. I don't really have a specific job, nor do I want one, so I do whatever someone needs me to do. Today I was just cleaning the Kitchen and bathrooms, and tidying up around.

Luckily it's Alby's turn to give the Greenie a tour so I'm off the hook.

All of the sudden, the alarm starts going off. I nearly klunk my pants and have a heart attack it scares me so bad.

"Teddy!" I hear Chuck yell as I exit Homestead. "It's here!" He is so excited.

"Coming!" I screech in return.

I quickly run over to where Chuck is and we walk towards the box. There is already so many Gladers surrounding it. "Excuse us," I say while clearing a path while Chuck walks close behind me.

I get to the edge of the box and see Newt, Gally and Alby.
"Gally," I say sternly. "Do not- Do you hear me? Do not scare, hurt or traumatize him. Please."

He nods.

"Good that," Newt says.

And with that, Gally and Alby pull open the crate doors.
Inside lays a boy, probably around my age. He has dark brown hair, dark chocolate eyes, and a pale white face. He looks petrified.
Gally hops down to the lower deck and makes the whole crate rattle. I sigh. Guess nothing I say will stop eyebrow man.

"Day one, Greenie," Gally says while reaching his hand out for the boy to grab it. "Rise and shine."

As soon as the new Greenie grasps onto Gally's hand, he is thrown into the air.
"Gally!" I shout as the boy lands on the ground with a thump.

Even though I'm mad at Gally for that, I wish Minho could have seen that. It was pretty funny not gonna lie.

I watch from a distance as the boy slowly rises from the ground, taking in all the surroundings.

Before I could even register what was going on, the Greenie makes a run for it.

"Ooh we gotta runner!" I hear Zart shout.

"Is anyone gonna stop him!?" I say to no one in particular, but mostly to myself.

No one answers, so I chase after him myself. I hear others cheering, but I try to ignore them.
Just as I'm getting close on his tail, he face plants. Causing me to stumble on top of him.

"God damnit Greenie!" I exclaim.

"Get off of me!" He screeches as he pushes me off him and I scramble off the ground.

This makes the Gladers go wild, but I turn my attention to the boy in front of me.

He slowly starts rising from the ground.

"W- what is this place," he says. His voice is sounds so confused and shaky.

"Welcome to the Glade," I laugh.
