Lover over Brother

Chapter 2

Harry's POV

I can't believe I just blew my aunt up. I didn't mean to- it just kinda happened. Jules and I sat down on the wet curb underneath a lamp post. It was cold. Luckily I had a jacket- Jules wasn't so lucky. She sat beside me, leaning into me for warmth. I wrapped an arm around her to try and warm her up a bit. I have always been protective of her. Always have. I already lost my parents, she was all I had left. Besides I'm older. By two minutes.

I could feel her shivering and I slipped my jacket off, handing it to her.

"I'm not wearing your jacket."

"Your freezing."

"I'm not wearing it Harry."

Stubborn as always. I sighed and slipped it back on me and tried to continue to keep her warm. It was a very mysterious night. The playground behind us started to move from the wind and I could feel Jules sinking into me a bit more. I had to admit, it was a bit eery. The sound of twigs snapping in a bush across the street caught both of our attention and we stared towards that direction. A black dog emerged from the it, baring its teeth and growling. I heard Jules gasp and I stood up, pointing my wand towards the dog before the sound of a loud horn scared me and I tripped over the curb, landing on my arse.

"Woah what's that?" I heard Jules say as a bus came towards us,  stopping in the middle of the road. A man steps out and starts telling us his name, Stanley, and Knight Bus, which was the vehicle before us. We got on the bus, Jules and I still confused about that dog- probably just some stray, and suddenly we got pushed into the beds as the bus takes off. Jules and I then learned about the man on the front page of the Daily Prophet, a murderer named Sirius Black. Great to know  someone escaped from Azkaban. Just great.

It was a long and bumpy ride, more like I got slammed into the glass windows twice and Jules sat there and laughed, but we arrived at the Leaky Cauldron. I had to go talk to the minister while Jules was brought to her own room to stay in. Thank Merlin I wasn't expelled or arrested.

After my whole talk with the minister, I was brought to my own room. Jules entered a little bit after I arrived. She came in and sat on the bed beside me.

"So...?"

I looked up at her, realizing she wanted to know what happened.

"Oh I'm not expelled or anything if your wondering- I just can't do it again obviously." I said, forcing out a small chuckle. She nodded and leaned into me, staring at the wall. Something told me she was lost in thought.

"You okay?" I ask.

She nods and sits up straight, brushing herself off. "I just think I'm gonna go get some rest. You should to. It's late."

I nod and sigh. "Good idea. Goodnight little sister."

She rolls her eyes and stands up. "Your only older by two minutes, stop rubbing it in my face." She muttered, making me chuckle. She left the room and I quickly got ready for bed before collapsing onto the bed. School was starting soon, and I couldn't wait to go back.
