"Namaste Anjali ji... Han Lavanya ji ne btaya... haan... hum mile thhey unse, she called me to office.... acha... thik hai hum sab ko le aaenge... acha... thik hai hum intezaar karenge..." Khushi cut the call. (Transalation: Hello Anjali... Yes Lavanya told me... Yes... I met her, she called me to office... okay... Okay I will bring everyone... okay... okay we will wait)

"Haaye re nand kishore, ka baat hui hai btaogi humka?" (Translation: Oh my lord, what has happened, will you tell us now?)

"Buaji, ek buri khabar hai aur ek achhi. Pahle kaun si?" (Translation: Aunt, I have one bad news and one good news. Which should I lead with?)

Amma said. "Chalo buri bata do." (Translation: Lead with the bad one.)

"Arnav ji aur Lavanya ji ab saath nahi hai" (Translation: Arnav and Lavanya aren't together anymore )

"Why Khushi?" Jiji asked.

"It was their decision. I asked her but she didn't say much."

"Toh u naukri gayi?" Buaji asked. (Translation: So that job is gone?)

"Haan." (Translation: Yes)

"Haaye re nand kishore... kharcha badhat jaat hai aur income kamat jaat" (Translation: Oh my lord, expenses are increasing and income is decreasing.)

"Good news is Lavanya ji and Arnav ji gave me my job at AR again."

"Kya!!!" (Translation: What!!!)

"Haan Amma. Hum Shantivan ja rhe thhey she called me said to come to office. There she told me all about her breakup and how Arnavji felt I shouldn't lose a job because of their personal life. So, he offered me my old job back. Jiji, there's no clauses or money involved this time. Look at this!" (Translation: Yes Ma, I was going to Shantivan and she called me...)

She shoved the appointment letter in Payal's hands.

"This says you are Arnavji's PA."

Shit! "Yes." Khushi sighed.

"You have to start tomorrow itself? This man knows nothing about personal life na?"

"This man knows Babuji's condition. Every payday counts Jiji. He told me I can start today but Lavanya ji and I convinced him that I should get a day off to spend with my family."

When the two sisters were alone, Payal asked her. "You said Lavanya ji and Arnav ji asked you to work at AR"

"Haan Jiji" (Translation: Yes sis)

"Saath nahi hai still working together" (Translation: Aren't a couple but still working together)

"Jiji rishte se pahle wo dost thhey. Best friends. Dosti khatam thore hi ho jaegi." (Translation: Sis, before being a couple they were friends. That ship hasn't sailed yet.)

"Pichli baar tumne hi toh sab thik kiya tha. Ab to office mein ho, patch them up again!" (Translation:  Last time when they broke up, you fixed things. Now you're in office patch them up again!)

Jiji bhi na." Pichli baar gussa hoke rishta toda tha. Toh I worked things out. Iss baar dosti ke nate shaadi se mana tak kar diya. I don't think it's my business anymore." (Translation: My great sister! Last time they broke up because of a difference of opinion. They were angry. This time they have broken up mutually because they don't want to wreck their friendship.)

"Hmm. You do know them better."

"You'll also know them. Shit. I forgot to tell you guys. Amma buaji Zara suniye. Anjali ji had called na.. she wants all of us to have lunch at Shantivan today. It's Lavanya ji last day living there na they want to meet everyone once before I stop working there." 

"Haaye re nand kishore! Sashi babua ko kaise le jaenge?" (Translation: Oh my lord! How will Sashi go?)

"She said she'll send two cars. One for you three and other Lavanya ji will come. Jiji and I will go with her."

"Aman, are you sure about this?"

"Positive ASR, Shyam has been staying as paying guest at Gupta house for nearly 4 months now."

"I can't believe it. He fooled us so easily. Thanks Aman, I owe you for this."

"No problem, ASR."

Lavanya entered Shantivan with Khushi, Payal and Buaji. Everyone greeted each other happily. Even Manorama was in okay mood. Amma entered with Babuji, and Arnav entered behind them.

"Chhote, tum aa gaye!" (Translation: Chhote, you came!)

"Han Di, wo meeting got cancelled." 

"Chalo acha hai. Isi bahane sab ke saath mil loge. Jao fresh hokar aa jao." (Translation: That's good. Now you can meet everyone. Go get freshened up!)

Sashi Gupta was lost. It was the woman. Shyam's wife. Khushi was working here? No wonder he was ever so cautious about his real identity.
