Chapter 1: morning.

"Morning morning you snoozy heads!"
Nyx opened her eyes with difficulties, she was still tired. "Can't we stay in bed a little longerrrr? i feel like i might collapse right when i step outtt" Said Poseidon, he was always the tired and lazy dragonet. Nyx stretched her talons, sunlight fell from a window that was on the ceiling, making her eyes burn.

A tall, dusty-brown colored mudwing stood at the entrance of the sleeping cave, he let out a chuckle at Poseidon's words. "If you collapse when you step out, i'll promise you you'll get the day off" the mudwing smiled at Poseidon, "Really? can i then sleep in the river all day long? pleaassseeeee?"

Nyx heard a laugh and turned around to Tamar's nest, she was a yellow and bright pink color, laughing uncontrollably, "And i thought you said i was lazy you fish head!" the rest of the dragonets fell out of their nests, now also laughing uncontrollably. "Okay everyone, c'mon now before you miss breakfast." Nyx was the only one not laughing and she nodded, the mudwing gave her a warm smile and walked out of the cave.

"Come on guys, you heard chestnut" Nyx stood up and the other dragonets calmed down, well, they were still giggling. "Alright all-hearing nightwing." Tamar laughed and Ash gave her a sharp look before letting a plume of fire out at Tamar, "AH! what in the Rainwings was that for!" Ash had always been overprotective for Nyx, even the smallest tease would be seen as an insult by him.

"I told you already, no teasing Nyx." Ash growled and stood up, then walked out of the cave. "Wow, he's really been overprotective over you lately, ooo, what if he has a crush on you! i can see you blushing!" Nyx looked down at her snout, Tamar was right, she was blushing. "Im blushing of emberassament!" "I dont think sooo~"

"Nyx and Ash sitting on a cliff, giving each other kissies!" Tamar kept on singing as she jumped playfully out of the cave. "Guess we'll also go now." Hestia and Orceus walked out of the cave. Nyx sighed and also walked out, speeding up her pace to get to the others.

"Finally, you're here, i thought you were dead." Sunbeam snorted at Nyx, the other dragonets were already gone hunting into the hunting cave, she rolled her eyes at Sunbeam and walked into the cave, as she left she could hear Sunbeam mumble: "If you WERE dead, we'd have less trouble.." Nyx ignored the words and kept on walking.

"Nyx! look what i caught for you!" Ash ran up to her as soon as she walked in, he was holding a cow. "Thank ash, you know you didn't have to-" Their small chat was interrupted by a loud yelling and the hunting room door swinging open, Nyx fell backwards, she quickly got back up on her legs and wiped some dust off of her eyes.

It was Sunbeam, Chestnut, Sunrise, Koi, Handsome and Wanderer.
"NYX. NOW."
Nyx gulped and walked out with the guardians, "Hey! can i also come! i can't let Nyx be alone! whats happening?!" "Shut up Ash and go do something useful like study." Ash bared his teeth at Handsome but sighed went back to hunting.

"Where are we going? did i do something bad?" Wanderer looked down at her, keeping a straight face, "You're not in trouble, dont worry." "Alright.." Nyx looked up from the ground and saw a door she had never seen in the caves, as soon as the guardians opened the doors a bright light hit her eyes. what was happening? and why was it happening so fast?
