"So y/n and Eren are in charge of getting the party food, Jean and Mikasa are in charge of finding a bunch of L.E.D lights, Mahleeuh and Armin are in charge of getting the drinks, and me and Sasha are going to get the rest of the decorations" Connie assigned jobs as all of you stood outside in the parking lot.

You all nodded in agreement and said your 'ok'-s. "Aight let's go" Connie proudly smiled that everyone likes his idea.

"I came with Mahleeuh so..." You trailed off and looked at Eren who was tossing his keys up and down in the air.

"Oh realllyyyyyyyyyyyyy???" Connie said in a high pitched voice and clapped his hands together with a mischievous smile on his face and his head cocked to the side.

You blinked repeatedly then looked to the left and slowly to the right. "Really." You nodded at Connie. "Well, you can just ride Ere- ahem...ride with Eren and Armin can ride with Mahleeuh" Connie batted his eyelashes as you glared at him.

"Con-"

"Great! So let's go" Connie interrupted and pulled Sasha with him to go to his car. "Connie but-"
"SHHHHSHH" Connie shushed Sasha.

"Do NOT shush m-"

"SHHHHH" Connie shushed again with a giggle. "Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!" Connie cringed at the feeling of Sasha aggressively pulling on his ear.

You looked away from the two and noticed the rest of the group was already walking to their cars. You looked at Eren still seeing him tossing his keys as he looked at Connie and Sasha play fighting.

"So...." You trailed off and cleared your throat. Eren looked at you with a blank expression. "Let's go" He tossed his keys up one more time then started walking to his car.

"Right" You nodded and followed behind him.
Eren opened the passenger door for you and you climbed in. "Thank you" You said to him and he hummed in response.

Eren closed in the door then walked around to the drivers side. He got in the car and started the engine.
You pulled out your phone and started scrolling on Pinterest to save things to your board.

You felt the car beginning to move and music softly coming from the radio. You bounced your leg up and down from feeling a little anxious.

It was quiet, an uncomfortable and intimidating quiet. You didn't dare to look over at him in case he caught you which would make things more awkward.

You bit down on your lip while looking out the window. You watched the passing cars and buildings as you tried to figure out what to say.

"Why are you so quiet y/n?" Eren asked, his low voice running through your ears. "Why're you?" You looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

Eren stopped at a red light and looked over at you. "I don't know—" You looked away from his gaze and let out a sigh. "—but I want us to act normal, like how we were before but....minus the..." Eren trailed off and tilted his head while staring into your eyes.
