chapter 10: b

kinda gonna be a short chapter - it might change as im writing though because its like 10 and i have to be up for school at 5 so idk.  but hey i did update twice in 24 hours soooo.....  anyway don't forget to comment and vote <333

GENERAL POV:

"wanna go watch tv?"

"whatever you wanna do jayje" emily smiled.  

the two women walk downstairs and sit on the couch.  

"want a snack?" jj asked emily smiling.

"mmmm, im good thanks though"

emily was flipping through channels when she came across a movie she had never seen before, but had heard of.  when jj found out that emily never saw the movie before, she was appalled to say the least.  

"emily.  you are telling me you have never seen the greatest movie of all time?"

"really jayje?"  emily laughed, "you think that 'clueless', of all things, is the greatest movie of all time?" 

"yea, of course i do.  because it is dummy" jj joked with the brunette.  

"we can agree to disagree, but do i have to watch it? is it even good?"  

"em, yes you have to watch it.  it's amazing"

"okay, okay, anything for you"

the two women sat on the couch together watching 'clueless'; jj mindlessly quoting the 90's movie as she watched.  jj inched herself closer to emily, and eventually ended up between the brunette woman's legs.  they stayed in that position until the movie ended.  as the credits were rolling, jj decided to make dinner for them.  the two decided on ziti with sauce.  

emily decided to let jj take over the cooking because she knew that she would probably burn down the house.  emily aimlessly flipped through the channels.  she stopped every once in a while and just stared at jj for a moment or two.  she was falling for the blonde woman.  hard, and she knew it.  

jj walked around the kitchen, adding a pinch of salt into the now boiling water.  she adds the pasta in and glances over to see what emily's doing.  when she does, she catches emily staring at her for about the hundredth time that week.  

"prentiss, how many times to i have to tell you.  take a freaking picture.  it'll last longer." jj joked with emily.  

"and how many times do i have to tell you? i will" emily chuckled standing up from the couch and walking towards jj. 

emily grabbed her phone off the end table and ran to jj.  jj turned around, and emily took the oppurtunity to catch jj off guard.  she kissed jj on the cheek and quickly took the picture.  emily looked down at her phone to admire the picture and smiled.  

"awe you're adorable"

"and you're going soft emily prentiss!" jj giggled.  

"me? going soft? never!"

"i don't know about that one"

emily looked back down at her phone and opened the settings app.  she scrolled down to where it says 'wallpaper' and clicked on it.  she selected the picture she had just taken of them in the kitchen, adjusted the fit on the screen and made it her lock screen.  

"ta da!" emily giggled; holding her phone up to show jj her new wallpaper.

"oh my god! i was right.  emily prentiss has gone soft"

"shut up before i change it to a picture of sergio" emily joked.  

"no, i think it's cute, but i need a new lock screen now too"

"well, we can arrange for that to happen, of course"

jj grabbed her phone and held it up to take a picture.  emily stuck her tongue out and did the same accidentally hitting emily's.  they both immediately started laughing hysterically.  emily peeked over jj's shoulder to see what had become of the picture they tried to take.  jj pressed the bottom left corner of the screen, where the picture was and laughed.  

"em look!"

emily looked at jj's phone and laughed at the picture.  it ended up being a blurry picture of them with their tongues touching, because apparently jj took it right before they started laughing.  she immediately made it her lock screen and showed emily as fast as she could.  

"ew! jj retake that, i look disgusting!" emily pouted. 

"hmm.  i don't think i will" jj shrugged. "by the way our foods ready"

the two agents sat at the table and ate their dinner.  emily smiled as she ate, because the food was delicious.  well, that and because she couldn't help but smile when she was with the blonde woman.  jj felt the exact same way that emily did.  they sat eating in comfortable silence.  

when they were done they decided that it was getting late and that they should probably clean up and then go upstairs to bed.  they picked up the dishes off the table and rinsed them before putting them into the dishwasher.  emily walked into the living room and folded the blanket before placing it on the back of the couch, where it laid previously.  when they were done cleaning, emily snuck up behind jj and wrapped her arms around the younger woman's torso.  jj turned around still in emily's arms, and placed a soft kiss on the brunette's lips.  

"i could get used to this for sure" emily mumbled; her lips still connected to jj's.

"me too." jj giggled pulling away

jj dragged emily up the stairs into the master bedroom and jumped onto the bed.  emily sat down next to her and kissed her again; more gently this time.  jj got up.  

"no don't go" emily pouted, once again.

"skincare!" jj laughed.  

"screw skincare! come back" emily joked.  

"quit being such a baby i'll be right back"

jj returned from the bathroom not even 3 minutes later and laid down next to where the brunette had made herself comfortable under the covers.  

"have i ever told you how gorgeous you are?" jj asked.  

"yep.  and i always tell you the same thing.  not as gorgeous as you" emily replied, rolling onto her side to face jj.

"i don't want to hear it but whatever!" jj joked; yawning.  

"you look tired why don't you get some sleep?"

"i think i will"

jj inched closer to emily until she was practically on top of her.  she gave emily another kiss before rolling over so that her back was to emily's chest.  

"goodnight em"

"goodnight jayje" emily said kissing the top of the blonde's head before shutting her eyes and slowly drifting off to sleep to the sound of jj's breathing.

hey y'all! i'm back, again.  OH YEA  thanks for 500 views!  it was  barely at 400 when i published the chapter last night so thats crazy for me even though its not a lot lol.  here's some fluff before shit goes down (it's not even that bad i just don't know how else to describe it).  sorry that this chapter was short it didn't go as i had planned.  originally them watching tv and then eating/going to sleep was just gonna be the very beginning of the chapter and then i kinda ran with it.  but i guess that means i can really run with my plan for next chapter!!!   i hope you liked it soooo please don't hesitate to comment suggestions or ideas.  as always i love all of y'all and don't forget to vote <333
