chapter 13: c

thank y'all for 800 views!  i can't believe that this is almost over!  i could either end it next chapter orrrrr i could do what i originally planned for next chapter but than add an epilogue with a big time jump or something.  if i end up doing the epilogue it'll probably be the longest part of the entire fic lol.  let me know please please please please.  i know this is when i always update but i told you i would update earlier in the week... yea i lied lol sorry :)  anyways i love you all so so so much.  don't forget to vote and i hope you enjoy this chapter <333

we all settled into our seats and the plane took off

GENERAL POV:

an hour into the flight and emily couldn't sit still.  she needed to move but she knew that she had no choice.  she was just bored and they still had about 4 hours left so she needed to distract herself.  jj had fallen asleep next to her with her head on emily's shoulder.  everyone was asleep except for emily and hotch.

EMILY'S POV:

i think to myself jj's so cute when she's sleeping.  i looked down at the beautiful blonde woman resting her head on my right shoulder and smile to myself.  i look up to get my laptop, because i think i'm gonna watch grey's anatomy, when i see hotch looking at me with a knowing smirk.  i roll my eyes at him and put my airpods in because i don't want to wake anyone up.  i've already seen the entire series like 3 times so i can literally watch any episode.

i decide to watch my comfort episode for the umpteenth time.  it's the one where mark comes for one of the first times and is actually hired at the hospital.  meredith has appendicitis but everyone thinks shes pregnant.  i could quote the entire episode if i really wanted to.  i don't know why but that episodes always stuck with me, it's probably because addisons in it and she's really fucking hot. 

i laugh to myself copying the lines in my head as the episode continues and hotch just looks at me and tilts his head.  i turn my laptop around to show him, and he just rolls his eyes at me.  when the episodes over i think i'm gonna try and get some sleep.  i'm not super tired but if i tried hard enough i could definitely take a nap.  the episode ends and i turn off my laptop and close it. 

i put on my favorite playlist and close my eyes so i can try and sleep, even just for a minute.  i open my eyes again to see if anyone else is awake, but as soon as i do they start to feel heavy.  i lean further back against the seat and drift off to sleep. 

JJ'S POV:

i wake up and i'm somewhere i don't recognize.  a house?  but whose house is it?  i'm standing on the front porch looking out at the street when i hear the door open behind me.  i turn around and it's emily.

she smiles at me and holds the door open for whoever's behind her.  a little girl runs out and hops on the bike that is on the side of the driveway.  this must be our house right? 

"hey viv be careful please!"  emily shouted to the little girl.

emily comes and hugs me from behind instantly giving me butterflies and i giggle. 

"what is so funny"

"nothing" i smile. 

"tell me!"

"i laughed because you gave me butterflies and you're cute!"

"awe jayje!  i still give you butterflies?  even after 5 years of us being together?"

5 years?!  we've been together 5 years now? i am so lost.  being to confused to question the situation i look slightly down as emily nuzzles her head into my shoulder, and i see a ring on her finger.  awe, we're married!!
