Athena and her friends lay on the blanket they had spread on the green grass near the huge tree on the Hogwarts grounds. All the four girls sitting or laying around in a circle. Kimberley sat with Elyse's head in her lap, Amber sat with her back to the tree and Athena sat cross legged eating strawberries.

"Who do you think will get married first among us?" Amber questioned.

"You!" All three girls replied back.

"You have been dating Drake forever! You guys will get married the next day we leave Hogwarts." Elyse elaborated.

"But, why am I the only one dating?", Amber huffed, "Its our last year and Kim never had a serious relationship, Elyse went on like two dates and Thea never talked to a guy!"

"Love is for fools." Kimberley muttered.

"Preach, sister!" Athena and Elyse said together loudly.

"Oh shut up both of you!", Kimberley scolded.

"Right! Elyse you have had a crush on Peter since you guys paired up for the Astronomy project last year, do something about it! Ask him on a date!" Amber suggested and then she turned to Athena, "You! Enough with your crush on James-"

"I am over him, he was a silly crush!" Athena retorted.

"Really! Then why did you look for him as soon as we reached the grounds last week? You were scanning the area for your boy candy!" Elyse said.

"I was not! Lily has been all about him for so long, I can't break the sister code." Athena explained.

"Since when was she your sister?" questioned Kimberley.

"Well, I will consider her a friend since she helped me in transfiguration back in third year." Athena sighed.

"Thea, stop making excuses. If you want to go out with James, go out with him. If you don't want to then don't, find someone else." Amber coached.

"I hate James bloody Potter! Can't we talk about anything else?" Athena angrily said.

"Okay, okay. No need to go all Hulk on us." Kimberley said.

"Who's Hulk?", Athena and Elyse questioned as their muggle born and half blood friend explained.

Soon enough the sun started setting so the girls started picking up their picnic blanket and basket. Amber was the one who thought of this and all the girls - except Elyse who just didn't show it but was as excited - readily agreed.

"Well, you guys don't need to date. Just lose your virginity." Kimberley stated, "Have sex and you will never go back!"

"Eww..." Athena made a disgusted face.

"Babe, you are so innocent." Elyse said with a smirk.

Athena finally made her way to the library, for the first time since Hogwarts started last week. She had been planning to catch up on all her studies beforehand. Humming  a song from the muggle band Kimberley was obsessed with Athena walked.

Suddenly, her body collided with that of a second year girl wearing green robes. Athena apologized but stopped short when she saw the girl with tears in her eyes and on face.

"Are you okay?" Athena tried to put her hand on the girls shoulder, who shuddered from the touch. "Dear, you look horrible. Tell me, maybe I can help you."

Athena pointed to the hidden stairs at the end of the hallway and motioned for the girl to follow her, who obliged. When both the girls reached their destination, Athena and the girl settled themselves on the last stair. As soon as the girl touched the ground, she started crying again.

"Oh love, don't cry. My name is Athena, you can call me Thea. What's yours?" Athena questioned.

"B-Bailey...", the girl said.

"Bailey, can you tell me what happened?", Athena carefully approached.

"I-I thought they will stop- but-", the girl continually hiccuped as she told her reasons to Athena, "all t-the othe-r h-houses make f-fun of us. W-we n-never did anything but t-they always b-bully us and a-act a-as vic-tims. I hate my house."

"I see. First, let's wipe away these tears from your pretty face. No one looks good crying." Athena wiped the girls face from her handkerchief, "Second, you are a slytherine. From the  house of Merlin himself. If someone bully's you, show them their place."

"B-but"

"You are your own person. Bailey, your house is a BIG part of you but it's not you and neither are those kids their houses. The words they say are just their excuses to bully you. I don't know when this house drama started but each student is bigger than their house. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be proud of your house, you should be.

Sometimes people assume that Slytherins are the bullies but they can be the bullied as well. Go to a professor when someone tries to do that to you, or an elder student you trust. Don't let this be bigger than what it has become.", Athena lectured.

"Okay," Bailey said already calmed down, "But why? Why are Slytherin so bad? Why am I in this house, I am nice to everyone? I am loyal to my friends!"

"Bailey, your house is a part of you. It is not necessary that you be a representative of the specific characteristic associated with your house. You can be nice and crafty at the same time, loyal and rude at the same time. A person can not be just one thing at a time, everyone has different personalities and this is the beauty of it all. Don't be ashamed or angry at your house, it is perfect for you that is why you were chosen for it. You were lucky enough to be placed in a house that is associated with you." Athena guided the young girl.

"Really? I guess you are right. Thank you." Bailey thanked as she gave Athena a hug.

The two girls talked some more and soon enough Bailey went about her way, while Athena sat there thinking about how obsessed all hogwarts students were with houses and how irrational was that.

Unbeknownst to her, James Potter had unintentionally heard the entire conversation and through out his respect for Athena - or the girl, with blue robes, whose face he could only see the left side of - grew.

The only thing he could manage to say was, "She's an angel."
