"how was your date?" leorio asks, skipping through the school halls beside me.

"i'm surprised it wasn't a joke." i say plainly.

"why would it be a joke?" he asks, leaning over closer to me.

"you're just the type of person to do something like that." i say, shrugging my shoulders.

"i am not!"

"yes you are! kurapika even thought the date might have been a joke." i laugh.

"whatever." leorio pouts. "you still haven't answered my question. i want to know how your date went."

"it went very well, leorio. i really like kurapika." i said, opening my locker.

"i told you that the two of you would get along. so, is he your boyfriend now?"

"i don't know if we're considered that yet." i sigh, taking out some books that i would be needed for the day.

"but i thought the date went well?"

"it did, but calling ourselves boyfriend and girlfriend seems a bit rushed, don't you think?" i ask, closing the door to my locker.

"no, i don't think so." leorio says.

"and that's why you don't have a girlfriend." i reply.

"what!"

a notification pops up on my phone and i look to see who it was from.

"you take that back, (name)! you take that back right now!" i ignore leorio's yelling whole unlocking my phone.

hi, (name). sorry if i'm causing you any trouble, but i'm outside the school. i'm going to need help finding my locker and classes.

i turn around and start walking towards the entrance of the school building.

"hey! quit ignoring me!" leorio yells, running behind me to catch up. "where are we going anyways?"

ignoring leorio was so much fun, so i decided to keep on doing just that.

once we reached the doors, i found kurapika leaning his back against the school wall.

"kurapika!" i shout, grabbing his attention.

"hey, (name)!" he waves, walking over to me.

"oh i see." leorio says, smiling like a creep. "aren't you two just adorable."

"nice to see you, leorio." kurapika says, ignoring his creepy comment.

"tell me about the date, kurapika. (name)'s not letting on very much information." leorio says.

"i don't know what to say. it went well. i'm glad you brought me on that date." kurapika says.

"yeah, that's right. i'm a very good friend, aren't i?" leorio asks, feeling good about himself.

"yes." kurapika says, letting out a long sigh.

"never thought i'd hear that from you." leorio says, a large smile forming on his face. "so, we're you the one texting (name) just now?"

"i was, i need her help finding my locker and classes." kurapika reply's.

"oh look at you, being a good person (name). wish you could be good to me instead of ignoring me!" leorio said, lowering himself so his voice sounded louder.
