"i- i really love you, (name)." i felt my eyes widen at kurapika's comment.

i wanted to say it back, but i couldn't find my voice.

leorio pulled into my drive way, dropping me and kurapika off.

leorio got out form the car and stood in front of us.

"i'm really glad that your alright, (name). we were really worried about you."

i smile up at him.

"i'll give you some space now. see you later."

i wave good bye to him as he gets in his car which was also parked in my driveway.

me and kurapika watch as he backs out and drives away.

"you're probably a bit tired," kurapika says, taking my hand. "come on, let's go inside."

i followed behind him and walked into my house.

everything was in the same place i had left it.

"i'll go get you some clothes." kurapika says, walking down the hallway to my room.

i walk over to my living room, sitting down on the couch. kurapika came back a moment later, handing me some sweatpants and a sweatshirt.

i gave him a smile as he turned aroun, letting me get dressed. i tapped his shoulder, letting him know that it was okay for him to turn back around now.

he gave me a small smile and he pulled me closer to him, embracing me in the middle of the living room.

i rested my head against his chest, listening to his heart beat.

"i'm so sorry." he whispers. "i'm sorry." he repeats. he continues telling me how sorry he is.

"kura." i choke out.

he tensed for a moment and looks down at me.

"it's not your fault."

"yes it is." he sighs. "i shouldn't have left you alone. i'm so sorry."

"stop apologizing." i whisper.

he shuts his mouth, nodding his head.

"did you mean what you said?" i ask.

"what do you mean?"

"when you told me you love me."

"of course i meant it." he smiles, tucking my hair behind my ear. "i love you so much, (name)."

"i love you too, kurapika."

he smiles down from me and then pulls away.

"if you want some space, i can go." he says.

"no. i just want you." i whisper.

i sit down on the couch and he sits beside me.

"i'll stay as long as you want." he takes me hand and holds it within his. he leans forward and kisses my forehead, making my face heat up.

"hey, kurapika." i mutter.

he looks over at me, staring into my eyes.

"i need to tell you what happened."

he leaned in as he listened to my tell
him what happened with ivy. as i told him, i felt tears in my eyes once again.

tears streamed down my face as i finished the story. he wipes the tears from my face, still staring at me.
