"Oh my god, Oliver, what are you doing here?" Will asked, when he turned to see the blonde about to sit down at the table next to him. He had his chair pulled out, but decided to keep standing.

"I'm a tad early, but I'm on a date!" Oliver smiled. Will tensed slightly at the mention of Oliver being on a date. With someone else. Truthfully, Will hadn't let Oliver's kiss-and-run go, even if he was on a date with another guy. "What happening here?" the blonde added once he saw Ryan and their linked hands on the table.

Will was quiet for a moment, not sure what to say. It was then that Ryan decided to pipe in. "We're on a date, actually," he said, almost threateningly, as if he were saying, "this guy is mine, back off." Will frowned at Ryan's near possessive tone. Possessiveness was something Will disliked in people and he wasn't happy that Ryan was beginning to show it.

Or, he could be being protective of you since he saw how much you were hurt by Oliver? Will thought, almost hoped, to himself. God, it better be that.

"Oh, cool," Oliver replied, standing awkwardly next to their table. Will wished it to all be over so he and Ryan could go back to their date but apparently Oliver had other plans. "Do you mind if I wait with you guys before my date comes, she seems to be running late and I don't wanna be that dweeb waiting all alone for her," the blonde asked with a pouty face to try and get them to agree.

Ryan and Will eyed each other, sizing up what the other was thinking as they waited for the other to say something first. Will was in that awkward position of not wanting to offend his date nor hurt his friend, so he waiting for Ryan to back down and say something. Luckily, Ryan caught on and conceded, "Sure, man."

"Great," Oliver grinned, taking a chair from his table and sitting down on the free side of the table.

Will wasn't entirely sure what was happening or how it even happened. All he wanted to do was run away and hide forever. Why was Oliver crashing his date?!

Who did I piss off to deserve this... Damn Liv cursed me! Will thought with a scowl.

The three sat in awkward silence for a few minutes before Ryan and Oliver started to strike up conversation. Soon, the two were talking like old friends, discussing their favourite soccer teams, while Will sat watching them like they had six heads. It almost felt like they were the ones on the date and Will was third-wheeling.

When will his date get here, Will begged to any higher being that there might be.

Apparently a higher being of evil was the one to answer his call when Oliver looked at his phone. "Ah damn, she cancelled on me," Oliver said dejectedly. "I guess I should head off."

He started to get up as if to go, (Will felt horrible that he was a tad happy about this), but Ryan pulled him back down. "Hey man, you should stay. No point letting her ruin your night!" Ryan said. Will mentally cursed his date. Sure, it was nice that he was so considerate, but they were so close to being alone on their date!

"Are you sure?" Oliver asked. Ryan nodded reaffirmingly while Will's nod was more reluctant because, to be honest, Will would've rather the blonde go home but he didn't want to look like an asshole. Oliver grinned wide, happy that he got to stay, before opening his menu. "So, what looks good here?"

"The lasagna is very good here," Ryan responded without even opening his menu.

"Oh, really? I've heard great things about the Ravioli alla Luigi," Oliver mentioned nonchalantly. His quick glance at Will, however, was a little more... chalant.

With the glance and Oliver's casual mention of Liv's uncle's dish, Will realised what was happening and why his date night was being crashed.

This ass was listening to me and Liv in Philosophy today, Will thought.

He cleared his throat, quickly coming up with a plan to confirm his suspicions. "Hey, Oliver, if you don't mind me asking, who was your date tonight?" Will asked casually as he took a sip of his lemonade.

"Oh, umm, Jenna Milsom," Oliver replied, though it sounded a bit more like a question.

"Isn't Jenna Milsom a lesbian?" Ryan chimed in in confusion.

"Yeah, she's practically engaged to Chelsie from homeroom," Will added, giving Oliver a scrutinising glare.

"Well, Chelsie and I have some things to talk about then," Oliver countered quickly, back on his feet.

Will eyed the blonde up, unsure what his game was. Was Oliver jealous that he was dating Ryan?

No, that couldn't be it, Will thought. But I'm gonna find out what it is.

It wasn't until after dinner that Will had an opportunity to find out what Oliver's game was. Oliver had deflected any probing questions Will had asked during the meal and Ryan announcing his need of the bathroom was his opportunity to just get to the point.

"Why are you here?" Will had asked once Ryan was safely out of earshot.

"What do you mean? I was here for a date and she cancelled," Oliver replied innocently.

"Oh please, Jenna is like, pure lesbian; she wouldn't go on a date with you. So be honest with me, why are you being a date crasher right now?" Will retorted. He wasn't having anymore bullshit. He just wanted the truth.

"Fine. I'd heard that Ryan wasn't that great of a guy and I just wanted to see if it was true and see if he was the right guy for you," Oliver sighed, deciding he should just be honest.

Will glared at him, not at all happy with his answer. In fact, he was furious. "So what, you think you have a right to crash my date and sign off on whether or not I should date him?" he asked, completely incensed by the blonde's intentions. They weren't that close of friends and Oliver had hurt him not even two weeks earlier. Hell, they'd only just made up two days ago.

"I'm sorry, you're completely right. I had no right to come tonight. This is completely wrong of me and I'm sorry," Oliver apologised.

"Why else are you here?" he ordered, sensing another reason for the blonde's presence tonight. Oliver sat quietly, staring at him. "Why. Else. Are. You. Here?" he ordered again when the other boy didn't answer him.

Oliver flinched at Will's harsh tone. He gulped in fear. "Fine, I'm jealous, OK? I'm jealous because I regret what I did on Commodore Point and I wish I'd stayed so you'd be with me and not him right now, OK!" he confessed.

But Will wasn't having it. Not at all. "Go home," Will said quietly. Oliver went to protest but the redhead cut him off. "Go home now, Oliver, I don't want to even look at you," Will said in a menacingly calm tone. He was barely containing himself from yelling and screaming in the crowded restaurant.

Oliver went to say something but ended up opening and closing his mouth like a fish. Deciding it was best to just listen to Will, the blonde stood up and stormed out the restaurant. Will stared intently at the empty plate in front of him, not wanting to see Oliver leave. Looming tears were threatening to fall but Will sniffed them back.

Why tonight?

A/N: I hope it was good, I don't know how I feel about this chapter, to be honest.
