The following works is completely of my own ideas, thoughts, and experiences. Any similar stories/writings are purely coincidental and not affiliated with me or my writings.
I obtain the full rights to this story. Please do not steal my work. Not only will I want to dog walk your ass, I'll consider suing. That's messy.
Sexual/Explicit Content:
I began this story when I was around 16/17 years old, and I am now going into my third year of university. The plot centers around two 17y/o juniors in high school, and while their age is not a constant topic of conversation in the writing, the fact that they're in high school is important context. That being said, there are vividly written descriptions of sexual relations between the two main characters, including hand-to-genital contact, oral sex, dry humping, and vaginal sex. I understand they are minors, and I no longer am, so please note that pedophilia is a serious and heinous crime that I do not support remotely. I hope this is not of any discomfort to you as readers, but I completely understand if you choose to discontinue with the story due to this.
Trigger Warning:
This book involves conversations, attempts, and visual descriptions of sexual assault, abuse, death/murder, grief, mental health, and racism. I understand these are sensitive topics and apologize to anybody who this may affect... just know you are heard, cared about, and not alone. Please reach out for resources to contact if you wish to talk about any past or current trauma you've experienced(and/or of course, my DMs are open).
Tokenism, Racism, and White Saviorism:
I began writing this story as an outlet to express my frustrations towards my former high school for treating me and the very few Black students it had as tokens with any opportunity possible(if you've read Colored Ivory, you probably figured out that I had a lot of shit to get off my chest). I would like to note that some of the actions and occurrences I've written about I do not support/believe, but racism is a serious topic that needs to continuously be addressed. To my BIPOC, you do not need a white person in any shape or form to feel valid or successful in anything you do. This is not a story meant to romanticize white saviorism, but to call out its intentional and unconscious perpetrators. It's not on us to heal a world we did not break. If you wish for elaboration or clarification, please comment anytime throughout the story.
Characters and Setting:
Kiara Washington is fully Black. Described as Brown/Dark skinned. Christiano Marks is white American with dark brown hair and green eyes(sorry, not Harry Styles-- that man is British). I mainly say this to emphasize this is BWWM. The setting of this story is in 2017-2018 and a small town in Virginia(not connected or affiliated with Colored Ivory/Ivory Colored).
If you have any questions, concerns, corrections, etc. please drop comments as needed. I hope you all enjoy!
