Kiara:
I turned under the covers and felt the rays of sunlight hit against my eyelids. I let them flutter open, still feeling drowsy. A headache began to form against my temples, and I silently cursed. I let my hand reach over so that I could grab the aspirin that was usually on my bedside table. When I only kept grabbing air, I sat up in the comfy water bed and looked around the blue and silver painted room...
Blue and silver?
Water bed?
My headache was momentarily masked by confusion. I wasn't in my room. My bed had canopy drapes and the color scheme was black and gold. I started to notice how sore my body felt and exhaustion weighed down heavily on me. I had no memory of the night before other than dancing with Monica and/or Tiana after my tidbit with that Christiano kid. Did I...? I pulled the covers off of my body. I was fully clothed, but that didn't mean anything. I felt myself growing panicked. I had no idea where I was and no recollection of the events leading up to me laying where I was in that moment. If I couldn't remember much of the party, then who the hell did I leave with?
The door to the bedroom swung open, and I felt my heart drop when my mind registered Christiano's face. He stopped and stared at me wide-eyed. "Hey, sorry... I didn't think you'd be up yet."
No. Way.
I couldn't help the scream that erupted from my throat. I immediately sent the first thing I could grab flying across the room towards his head. It happened to be his keyset, and they smacked him dead in his eye.
"Ow, fuck!" He groaned.
"Why am I here? What did you do to me?" I yelled.
"Calm down! The shouting isn't necessary." Christiano said, picking his keys up. "My parents are still asleep."
I felt the world spin. "I cannot believe... with you of all people... my God, I'm gonna throw up. How did I even get here?!"
Christiano shrugged, dabbing his eye. "I brought you here."
"How much did we do?"
"What are you talking about? We didn't--"
"I'm gonna be sick." I groaned.
"I'm insulted at the fact that you find sex with me repulsive." He said, rummaging through his dresser. It was then that I noticed he only had a towel wrapped around his torso. Water droplets covered his toned body, and his hair was wet like he'd just come out of the shower. I tried to swallow, as my mouth ran dry at the image before me. "Besides, we didn't do anything."
"We didn't?" I felt my heart rate begin to slow down.
"No." He looked up at me with a frown after pulling out some clothes. "And I don't appreciate you assuming I'd try to sexually assault you. I'm not like that."
"Well then what the hell happened?"
"... There were these guys last night that had apparently drugged your water. You passed out and they were taking you up the stairs of Devon's house. What they were gonna do to you... shit was disgusting, so I got you away from them.
"So... how did I end up here?"
"I brought you here." He repeated. I averted my eyes as he pulled a shirt over his head and let the towel drop. "I tried taking you home, but you didn't have any of your stuff and nobody was there. I figured it'd be best to just bring you here and let you rest."
I was honestly grateful that Chris didn't let me get attacked by some hormonal teenage douchebags-- the last time something similar occurred, no one tried to save me. I was definitely relieved that we didn't actually do anything. I was also mad that I was in his room in the first place. Of all the people to stand in as my knight in shining armor, the Big Man really chose Christiano.
