You didn't know your lieutenant had a liking to you more then professional one goes. If you did know it make a lot more sense to you why he always seemed to dislike your partnering with Lucifer on some cases.
Marcus would always disregard the idea. You'd always hear a No, Not happening, I don't think so, etc you couldn't figure out if it was because he didn't trust you or Lucifer. Like we're you not good enough to be on some of the cases along side Lucifer. He'd often recommend Chloe use Lucifers help not you. It was getting in you're nerves to say the least.
"Detective Y/L/N" Lieutenant Marcus Pierce calls out walking towards you're desk.
"Yes boss man" you acknowledge him giving him a polite smile.
"Got a case for you" he places a file on your desk. You open it briefly for a simple summary of the case And close it.
"Perfect sounds like one I could use Lucifer on, definitely his type of life style" you say giving him a smile. As saying his name Lucifer appears.
"Ah did I hear the devils name my dear" Lucifer smirks looking at you.
"Not happening" he says causing you're smile to disappear fast and minor anger bubble inside you. This really is getting annoying. Feels like anything you say to him is always a no.
"I could use him he has always been helpful with Chloe's cases" you try to reason
"Oh lovely, a case with this little minx I can't wait to stop the bad guys along side you detective Y/L/N" Lucifer is all smiles and excitement.
"Your not going" Marcus demands facing Lucifer. "I said not happening" he looks back at you. And leaves you're desk area walking away.
