Dan trying to comfort you when you're sister Maze is a suspect in not only one murder but two. Some would believe she would do such a thing but you knew different. Sure she can be reckless and rude but you know there's good in there, there's humanity wether she likes to admit it. She can be good, she has been good, a good sister and friend to many.
You suspected along with Chloe and Ella that she is being framed you all just gotta prove it. But that doesn't make it less painful to know she is going through this.
And Dan well he has much care for you and seeing as she is you're family you as well are going through this. Finding you in a room going through evidence of the two cases seeing if you can find something to help.
"Hey" Dan speak softy yet still manages to startle you as you had you're back facing the door. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you".
"I wouldn't say that scared me" you say looking at him then going back to the files.
"Are you okay?" He asks coming to stand beside you.
"Sure totally fine not like my sister is a murder suspect right" words dripping with sarcasm.
"I'm sorry dumb question I know. But I'm here if you wanna talk or I can help with these files you aren't suppose to be going through" he gives you cheeky smile.
"I suppose you helping may be of use, like the kind of use I won't get in shit for" you give him a tiny smile back.
