Lucifer attempted bonding with you're niece because you two are so close. He thought it would impress you and make you like him more.
"Is that.. omg awe you have a unicorn on you're face" you chuckle.
"Oh bloody hell I forgot that small human had done that" Lucifer tries to his almost look of annoyance.
"that is so cute, when were you with trixie?" you smile
"this afternoon the human and I spent it with board games and apparently unicorns, which i was not aware that is what she had put on my face"
"You voluntarily spent time with her? " you ask suspiciously raising you're eyebrow at him.
"well yes"
"why?"
"because the little human means a great deal to you" he says giving you small smile.
"well thank you for trying to get over you're lack of like for children with her" you smile back appreciatively.
