Bumping into pierce at work. You can't deny the relief feeling washing over you that he decided to stay working as you're lieutenant and not transfer out like he had mentioned the other day.
"Oh pierce your here" you say trying not to show over excitement.
"Yeah" he says sitting on a desk close by.
"So you decided to stay then?" You ask hope slipping its way in you're tone.
"Yeah for now at least" he says crossing his arms over his broad chest.
"That's good, that's really really good" he smile
"Wow two really's" he says a smile almost breaking through.
"Well yeah you know I-I have this case that's got a twist in it I could use your help" you hope that covered up your awkwardness.
"Right.."
"Well yeah what else could it be I like you and so happy your staying, I mean i am happy your staying and I do like you b-" you ramble on back to being awkward.
"Wait what?" He asks standing up a little confused with your rambling.
"What? I am happy your staying and I like working with you. Now the case sir" you give a stern look of false determination for the case.
